Many thanks. The Crematorium was beautiful. The Pavilion, which we used afterwards, was beautiful and great for a shared lunch for visitors attending the service from afar. The food and drink provided were delicious. A couple of things to consider: 1. We were confused as to when we were meant to go into the Crematorium building and were waiting in the carpark area, in the cold weather, for ages waiting for someone to tell us to go in!! Consequently, everyone arrived in the Crematorium in a bit of a rush and Mum's coffin was already there waiting. It was all a bit of a strange, rushed start. I think it would be a good idea for someone to guide people inside the Crematorium once the previous people have left. 2. As the family of the deceased, we were seated in the comfortable chairs on the left at the front. However, it felt very close, to the lecturn/priest. Maybe it would be best to have some more space there between the lecturn and the front row of chairs.
