The standard of the coleus were very disappointing

Evri missed four separate delivery dates. Finally delivered but left on a public highway about a third mile from my house. Not impressed

Very small plants , not what i expected with no advise on how to bring them on from very small shoots . I wouldn't recommend

Hi Frank Thank you for your review. All the cultural instructions for our plants are available online. Ideally they need to be removed from the packaging and potted up but all the information that you need can be found on the website for each item. My latest order came this week which was 12 salvia plants, to say I was disappointed was an understatement, they were quite tiny seedlings, obviously too small for th3 container they were sent in, they had all come loose and were rolling around together every one was broken some right down at the base and the box had loads of broken bits of plants in it. I made a phone call to Parker's on the day I received the plants and they have promised to replace but as yet I have heard nothing.

Plants were packed terribly with soil outand all loose inside the box, not sure wewill be using Parkers again

I ordered four fruit trees last year Autumn time, plum cherry pear, apple the cherry must have been dead on delivery as the three others are in blossom but the Stella cherry is dead and when I examined the main stem it was rotten and dry in the centre, I e emailed twice but no reply I've ordered another cherry (a black fruit this time) so fingers crossed, I'm very disappointed as I've bought quite a few plants etc from you.

Placed a large order that arrived instalments, the last obviously sown when order was placed - small and weedy tomatoes. Some plants recovered from 5 days in post, a couple were shrivelled and brown, but were replaced. Some pot bound, plug plants were small and will need to be greenhoused for a year before planting outside. A rose was shrivelled, marked with black mould and had ragged ends - I complained but had unsatisfactory response, I don't think it will survive. Won't do business again with a Company that sends out such poor produce.

All our perennials are grown outside from being young seedlings, so we would not advise growing them on in a greenhouse as they are not used to those conditions. They can appear pot bound as this is the new growth put on for the spring, ideally these should also be planted out in the garden, rather than remain in the travel pots. Two of the plants I ordered were tiny,but alive,the third one,a campsis radicands was dead,so j parker not impressed

The quality from J Parker used to be brilliant, I am not sure if it is the fact that it takes so long for the product to reach us. I had a few issues with a recent order, plugs with poor root system and bare roots with roots and nothing else. Time to up their game, hoping for better replacement plants as I love delphiniums!

I've had tulip bulbs from Parkers for years and last year I ordered 'City of Vancouver' which I've had before and know to be a lovely soft lemon yellow fading to deep cream. Now they are in flower I can see they are not what I ordered, they are deep egg yolk yellow which some people might like, but I certainly don't. Sadly my daughter's plant orders with Parkers recently have arrived dead, something has happened to the company's quality control and it isn't good.

I ordered 2 trays / 120 cells in each of plug Begonias. When they arrived, there was no bubble wrap to keep them in place and quite a few were out of the cells and dry. No leeway is made for empty cells , damaged or dead plants. You order 240 plants but you do not end up with 240 plants. I managed to pot on 220 plants and I estimate another 10 of those will not survive. I have tried to add a photo to verify this review but a message keeps popping up stating that “we could not upload one of your files please try again later “.

Because of the way they are seeded there is usually quite a few more plants than the 240 as the growers do not thin them out, however we would expect you to have the amount ordered. The plants arrived very poorly packed in one long flimsy cardboard box. Several of the plants were completely wrong and a couple in extremely poor condition - one I am certain will not survive. I have written an e-mail and sent a WhatsApp with photos.

Had a largish order of garden ready perennials but some of them are so pot bound I dont know whether they will survive the unravelling of the roots. Also some bare root plants just seem to be dead roots and a lot of potting compost -its hard to work out which way to plant them out as there's no live growth. The Lupins have several damaged stems plus a lot of dead plant material

Hi Anonymous, Thank you for your review and I am sorry to learn that you are unhappy with our products. At this time of year the young perennials are only just coming out of dormancy. With this in mind they may have, very little if any new top growth but they will have very healthy roots, they may even look rootbound as they have been spending the winter months building up their root system. I can see from the photo you have sent that the roots on the plants are really healthy and with this in mind we would advise you to plant them out. Receive several emails every week and have ordered previously but when trying to order does not accept my email or password and does not work when I try to reset password I have given in trying to order shopped elsewhere

I would have liked to give 5stars but one strawberry plant arrived dead, two plants died 10 days after potting on, two are ok. The Honeyberry plants are thriving.
