“Plants nothing like as illustrated. Inches high with barely any foliage, even the evergreen ones. It will take at least one year and possibly two, before any of the shrubs are something I would be proud to have in my garden. The hardy geraniums just a squiggle of root. Totally disgusted and disappointed. I would have sent the shrubs back but for the hassle and work involved and the difficulty of getting a refund. At my time of life I shall never see these plants in their maturity. Plants rootbound and I am dounbtful that these will do well.”

Hi Jennie Thank you for your review I am sorry to learn that you were disappointed with the size of the plants. We do advise how they are supplied, many perennials in late winter/early spring do have very little new growth on them but they will soon put on new growth as we move through spring and into summer. “I have received all of my order of plants thank you. All plants were delivered in good condition, (much better than last year). Just one observation, would it be possible to deliver Begonias in slightly bigger containers, as in the plants having more room between them. When I received my Begonia plants yesterday, all the leaves were intertwined, which made it very difficult to get the small plants out without breaking any leaves or stems of the plants. As you know begonia leaves and stems are very fragile. Unfortunately I could not help losing a few plants. Apart from this I am very pleased with my order this year. Thank you Mike Mansell”

“Absolutely thrilled with my plant delivery - the whole process from ordering to payment was straightforward - the online photographs of the plants was accurate and the detailed info as to planting and caring was excellent along with suggestions as to other complimentary planting - and well priced also . Delivery was pronot and being kept informed as to this was helpful . I have no hesitation in recommending J Parker’s to others to meet their garden needs!”

“Have ordered over many years and always found the plants to be good and as described. My concern this time is about delivery service. Not impressed with Evri delivery. No attempt to contact me. Could have overlooked the parcel where it was left making the contents unfit for purpose. Fortunately I spotted the parcel in a place it should never have been!”

“Sadly the last order I received from you was badly crushed at one end. The delivery driver insisted I opened it in front of him. We both thought everything looked OK. However when I came to take the plants out of their plastic trays a number of the stems were snapped. I have planted these in the hope that they will still flower ?. I have already reported this mishap to one of your staff on the telephone, who said he will make a note of it.”
