“I've been holidaying in the Lake District for over 30 years, 3 or 4 times per year, always in cottages and have used several booking companies in that time. Herdwick Cottages are the only company that I will deal with now. Their service is exemplary, staff are lovely, responsive and incredibly helpful and the cottages we have stayed at are well described, well maintained and clean. I highly recommend them”

“Hardwick Cottages’ customer service is second to none. Communication is clear and supportive from booking right through to planning and arrival. We even received a phone call just before the holiday date to ensure we had all the information required for our stay. Herdwick provide a useful bespoke app for each of their properties which is comprehensive and easy to access and navigate. This is the second time we’ve used Herdwick Cottages and we shall be using them again when we visit the Lake District. Thank you.”
