“The generator I bought said, 'quiet as a fridge'. It makes a lot of noise and you have to use it where people are a long way from you. It generates very little power and certainly didn't live up to expectations. Very disappointed with the product and certainly wouldn't recommend it”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we are sorry you are disappointed with your generator. All generators make noise and some more than others but none are as quiet as a fridge and we don't describe any in that way. If you could point us to where this is it would be appreciated. The Champion Mighty Atom unit you purchased is rated at 2200 starting watts so is quite powerful (especially for the very low weight). If you think there is a problem with it then please contact us to discuss / get it fixed.

“Excellent service from first call for advice, to my purchasing and receiving my Jackery 500 and shortly after my solar Pannal. The price and the free UK postage, which included the Isle of Man, made Hampshire Generators the best choice and their personal service was second to none. Infact a friend bought the same setup from them due to the service I received. Very pleased.”

“I had a short notice requirement (with a family member being medically impaired)for an inverter battery generator with an impending power outage. The product was very expensive but in line with other suppliers. Ideal product not in stock but suitable alternative offered. Very friendly staff. I drove up, the generator was loaded into my boot by them, and I drove off. 12 hours later it was a life saver.”

“Bought a Hyundai generator was told it would take up to 3 weeks as ther was a back order still from covid my partner rang up and explained that we bought it on the belief that it would be with us in 3-5 days as stated as we needed it for the weekend for the motor home to go motorcross with my son and they were very polite and understanding and said that there was not much they can do but if they can get it sorted any other way they will and the next morning the generator was delivered don’t know how I got it within 24 hrs of purchase but I did and much appreciated it .I would definitely recommend this company as they or someone in the company went out ther way to make it happen and the generator itself is perfect it powers everything in the motor home 3200w heating system with 230v tv microwave toaster 230v kettle all at same time with no overload thanks alot 💪👌”

“Contacted Hampshire Generators before ordering because I was concerned about the weight and my neibour's lifting abilities. Was informed my generator is delivered on pallet...perfect for neighbour to unlock garage door,however driver working solo and it was lucky my other neighbour(builder)was in and assisted. Great generator,good instructions and didn't take long to set up.”
