About Halo:

Halo is a registered charity and social enterprise running 25 sport and leisure centres throughout Herefordshire, Bridgend County Borough, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire and Swindon on behalf of the local authorities. We often discuss our status as a social enterprise, but many of our customers are unsure of what it actually means and more importantly, how it benefits them. Being a social enterprise means Halo trades for social purposes. We are a registered charity and 'not for profit' organisation, with no shareholders.

The money we make is ploughed back into the facilities.

“I visited the Centre for the first time to use the pool. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was nice and warm and everywhere was very clean. Very nice experience and I would highly recommend a visit. I will return soon.”

“Very good, top ofthe the range gym. Top quality fitness instructors, especially Rebecca. She truly knows her stuff, I also find classes better when she mark, and her rig circuits are amazing especially the finisher.”

“I have returned to join Halo Bromyard after a long absence due to physical health issues and surgery. The team at Bromyard have been supportive and encouraging in my rehab exercises in the gym and return to badninton.”

“A place that I would say makes you feel a part of a little community who cares, caring, respectful and helpful to their members either your a new or old members. I could call it a community created with respect and love of every individuals, no matter how old you are they welcome you with pride and dignity. A happy place to someone who lives in their and found a friend's and become their family who shared views and valued of friendship. That encourage every individual life is worth living because they found a friend who truly understands them and cares. “Staff are always friendly glad to see the hairdryers are both working. Shame only 1 out of 3 showers work correctly the water doesn't come out as a spray. The showers near the ladies toilet.”

“I've been coming for 5 years and I absolutely love it. My happy place. Staff are friendly and approachable. One fault the air con it goes off during classes which is ridiculous as its boiling ( and not even the summer )”
