“The bricks were ordered for a "Clearview" multi fuel stove and I had to trim them to fit the stove. Once fitted they sit quite firmly and so far so good.”

“Grate Fireplaces always deal with my orders promptly.However I am onto my third grate for my Spanish firebasket.It has cracked and broken up each time after two years usage.I am following all the advice given to prolong the life of the grate re my coal fire but still the grate cannot seem to cope with the heat produced The fire basket itself is fine, just the grate.Expensive to keep replacing.”

“I had a very good experience liaising with Grate F/Acc. I first enquired about stock availability and had a quick & helpful response. I received the yellow Med poppy tiles quickly and beautifully packaged!! The tiles are spot on, very well crafted and lovely colours. Only good things to say about this experience - thank you”

“It took quite a while to be received and when it did arrive it was missing the nozzle normally attached to these type of dispenser. I have managed to use it none the less.”

“Ordered a new ash pan as my old one had started rusting through due to condensation etc. The ash pan finder tool was very useful and helped me identify the right one. The pan arrived well packaged and is almost identical to my old one. I'm very happy with the new pan. Delivery did take much longer than expected but that was due to the Royal Mail Strike action.”

“Paid for the hearth guard at the beginning of January knowing the item was on back order. No correspondence or updates have been sent! So no idea if the goods have been ordered or when I will receive the goods? better communication would be appreciated .”

Would recommend this company and the fender to anyone, heavy construction, built to last a lifetime! My wife said it's GRATE as soon as she saw it!
