Mark was doing a mini valet and engine bay clean on my car and was a friendly guy and clearly knew his stuff. Car looked great once he was done no complaints!

I recently booked Fresh Car’s Signature Valet in the Cardiff area for my small city car. At £165 for up to 4 hours of work, it sounded like a premium service — but unfortunately, the results were really disappointing. The interior windows were covered in smears, the dashboard, mirrors, and vents were still dusty, and there were visible soda stains left on the leather seats. My car isn’t new, so I wasn’t expecting miracles — but I did expect it to be properly clean. No smears, no dust, no obvious removable marks. That’s the basic standard, and it wasn’t met. The valeter, Rhys, only spent around three hours on the job, despite the service allowing up to 4 hours. At the time I didn’t think much of it, but given the missed areas, it felt rushed in hindsight. I emailed Fresh Car straight away with photos. Their initial response was just to say that, as a franchise, it’s up to the individual valeter to respond — which didn’t inspire much confidence. Eventually, someone agreed the job wasn’t up to standard, but it still took four working days (and a follow-up from me) to arrange a resolution. Daniel, who came to fix the issues, was polite and addressed everything I’d listed. But since it had been two weeks, I’d hoped for a quick once-over too — instead, he stuck strictly to the complaint, which is fair, but it did feel like a box-ticking exercise rather than real customer care. Colleagues who saw the state of the car after the first clean couldn’t believe I’d paid £165. I’ve now moved to a local garage that charges a third of the price and does a far better job. Fresh Car works through a franchise model, so experiences will vary. But based on mine, I can’t recommend them. I’d downloaded the app and was considering their monthly plan — but I’ve deleted it now and won’t be booking again.

Dave did an amazing job with my car which was extremely dirty as it had been unused whilst I was working away. Would recommend and will definitely be rebooking as it’s easy and convenient to book online.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the incredible job Mark had done on my very dirty very neglected car. The wheels looked like new. Everything was thoroughly cleaned and polished. Inside is stain free and not a sign of dust or smudges. The doors even scrupulously valeted. He arrived on time and spent an hour transforming my vehicle. Could not recommend him enough.

Oh my GOODNESS!! From start to finish, doing business with Fresh Car was an absolute treat!! I’m so very happy. I came with a bit of an impossible challenge: to help with removing mold out of my little Audrey, a 16 year old convertible beetle, that needed some urgent TLC. Communication with Fresh car was was very clean and easy. Fast reply time and very patient with my many questions. As a new driver, who’s never hired a valet before, this made the process very easy and enjoyable. Danny took care of my Audrey, and worked tirelessly to make sure she sparkled on the inside. She looks show room worthy, and for a 16 year old car, that is absolutely incredible. A couple of hours with Danny on your car will easily shave a few years off of any car’s life cycle. Audrey came to me with a bit of a musty smell that no matter what I did, scrubbing for hours, and countless air fresheners all over the dashboard. I couldn’t get it out. After Danny, she smells like toasted marshmallows, and looks like one too. Bright beige, glossy and very welcoming. My car is whiter than my teeth now. I’m so happy!!! Danny was also SO LOVELY!!! I can’t begin to explain how wonderful and attentive he is. He has boundless knowledge when it comes to car upkeep, and he happily gave me so many tips and good advice on how to pamper Audrey even more. He even gave me a washing glove and drying towel. Thank you so much Danny!! 🧡🧡🧡 It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Danny. I will 100% be recommending him to every car owner I know. And that’s a lot of people. Thank you so much!! 🧡🧡🧡

Booked , had no confirmation email, had to cancel to rearrange a different day but wants payment again and they don't respond to email or live chat plus no telephone number to contact them

It was so easy to book in and I didn't have to wait long either. I booked in for the internal and external valet package and it was clear what was included. Danny called me when he was on his way which was really helpful and he cracked straight on. He's done such a fantastic job, the car looks brilliant and ready for me to now sell. We'll definitely be booking him again in the future.

I had my car booked in and was given less than an hours notice that it was cancelled and rebooked it. Yet again less than an hours notice and it was cancelled again wouldn't recommend them and when I said don't bother I was told I was rude .

5 stars! Mark was very professional and worked so hard- literally from morning to night on both cars. Now they look and feel the same as the day I got them. Engine clean, clay bar, leather beautiful, steering wheel feels new!. Showroom ready. Incredibly impressed. If I could afford it I’d do the same thing every month. Feel terrible though- not even a biscuit for the man! Apologises;). Thanks for all the hard work! See you again.

Really disappointed. Booked an internal valet over a week ago which I need to get lease car ready to return in 2 days time. All good until this morning the guy messages to say that as its raining he wont be able to do it today due to bad weather and to rebook in a weeks time. When I say its an internal valet and we have a garage he then says he's got too many jobs and won't be able to get to us as he has too many jobs. I then said he shouldn't have accepted the job but seems he is given them by the Fresh Hub. Actually its really appalling service - they could have cancelled last week. Not only does it leave me struggling to get the car done in time but also I had rearranged my whole workday to be available. No apology - just excuses and lies (its not raining!)
