Hi Gavin, We're very sorry that your order had not arrived. As per our previous communication, the matting selected had unfortunately not been viable to use, so we had agreed to swap to an alternate colour. Being a custom sized mat, this does take a little bit of time to produce and have the border applied. The great news is that this has been completed now and these will dispatch later today via DPD for delivery tomorrow. Once the tracking details are live, this will be available on the account section on the website and we'll have this emailed across to you. If you have any questions, please do let me know. still waiting on my mat to be delivered weeks after ordering and paying for it

Unable to provide accurate review as my product has not arrived yet. Upon ringing last Friday, I was given a number of reasons for the delay, including a ‘cyber attack’ on comp systems - yet I have received 2x E-mails requesting a review for my recent purchase - can’t say I’m too happy with the service

Good Morning Keith, We're sorry to see your negative review. I'd like to update you about the recent situation we discussed on Thursday. As you know, the manufacturing warehouse was hit by a major cyber attack, which caused a complete shutdown of their IT systems. This meant they couldn't process or dispatch any active custom-sized orders. The team over there have been working tirelessly to resolve the issue. Thankfully, they restored operations yesterday afternoon, and your order will leave today on a next-day service as planned. DON'T buy their 17mm Premium Coir Coconut Matting. The matting material is very loose and comes out in clumps when vacuumed even with the gentlest of suction. The rubber backing to the mat does not hold the bristles. Compared to the old woven coconut mating that lasted us more than 10 years, we'll be lucky to get a couple of months out of this. Never will shop with First Mats again.

I'm sure lovely people and emails suggest that, although the only contact was 'order confirmation' and then an apology for delayed delivery due to easter. The product is as advertised and I would normally recommend the supplier. However, I entered 180 inches (in length that I needed) and received a mistake of 180 cm which suited less than a third but at a prime cost. I tried to call but no reply or response to my message. So it has cost me. I am hoping this message will be seen so I can update to a more positive review.

TO the online order, and money, then called to say they were out of stock. In this day and age with internet shopping it is important to make sure you have stock control and your website is up-to-date

Hi Steve, I'm very sorry about the issue with the order. You're absolutely correct and, as soon as we realised we had no stock, we offered an alternative and provided a refund when that wasn't suitable. With almost 4000 products in the range and some unique challenges in 2021, it can be tricky to keep a check on every one of them, but we're working to improve that along with displaying stock status on our website in the future. In the meantime, we'll always contact customers about delays as quickly as we can and provide an instant refund when we can't offer an alternative. Best regards, Richard

Good morning Kirsty, we're sorry to hear you're not happy with your coir matting! We didn't hear about this otherwise of course we would have organised a replacement or refund. We sell a lot of coir matting and rarely have any complaints on its quality so it makes me think that you've got a manufacturing fault somewhere but would need to speak with you first to see what's wrong. Still awaiting delivery, already has been 3 Weeks. They said they have tried to deliver last week even though I was at home and nothing since. Impossible to contact to rearrange. AVOID.

After three days of ordering (FYI - next day delivery opted ) , I receive a note saying no stock and I have to wait till end sep to receive my order (one month wait) and no refund or discounts offered . Poor service . Think before you order from them.
