About Crazy Color:

Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. Don‘t be the trend make your own. Mix it your way to create a shade to match your style. Our range has expanded to 41 colors over the years and each decade gathers new fans. “Great Products however I received 2 greens in my kit and was missing the capri blue and the pink red colour that begins with a C”

“This was my first experience using crazy Color and I am a little disappointed. The Color in itself has worked great and took amazing to my hair however it has not been the colour on the bottle and that has left me unhappy with my results.”

“The colours are bright and vibrant and they don't wash out in the shower but I tried to use two different types of blues in my head and you can hardly tell the blues apart. It might have just been the way I dyed my hair. Either way would recommend”

“They are very nice products we went with your brand as this specific client needed a cheaper alternative but I realised pretty quickly I wasn’t gonna have enough for her hair even though it’s a long Bob and she has an undercut. the bottles weren’t completely full and I had brought two aswell! I had to mix it with conditioner half way through which ended up lightening the colour so some spots aren’t as bright, it looks good but not up to my standards as a stylist.”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Sorry, that you had a negative result after the first application but are glad that it then worked perfectly. The first application may of not worked if the hair had not been thoroughly towel-dried. Our Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes can be applied on dry or wet towel-dried hair. Hi Josephine, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. We are so glad that you love the color of our product. The best way to keep the application mess-free is to apply using our bowl and brush.

“A while ago i dyed my hair bright red from a patchy/brassy bleach and it covered wonderfully, couldnt have been happier...Until i went purple, bleach was pretty much the same but the purple went soo patchy and gross. Had a hassle trying to sort it so did some colour remover and went a very dark blue instead from a different brand :/”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Sorry that you have had a negative experience dying your hair purple. We do recommend lightening hair to level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying, to achieve the best result. However, the color may have gone patchy for a number of factors such as; if any of the previous color remained in the hair, condition, porosity, etc. If you have any more questions regarding the application and your result, please contact our customer service team.

“I have used Crazy Color before and loved it, but this time I bought the Lilac and it turned out blue, not sure if it was something I did wrong, but I do love it regardless. Good coverage and great price.”

We recommend lightening hair to a level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying to achieve the best result. This shade does have blue undertones and if any other tones or color remains in the hair when applying, it may impact the result. “I purchased several colours to rainbow colour my husband’s hair. The colours are bright and vibrant and easy to apply. I’ve noticed that a couple of weeks later the colour bleeds quite a bit (especially during the night onto his pillow) and will probably need reapplying after about 3 weeks.”

Although, we are sorry to hear that you have experienced bleeding from your husband's hair. We do have an anti-bleed spray that helps to lock in color for up to an extra 10 washes. For any further help on application and queries on color bleeding then feel free to contact our customer service team. Our hair color with the correct aftercare should last up to 8-12washes. Some of our recommended aftercare tips are not to wash hair for 48hrs after dying and use good shampoo and conditioner when you do that's kind to color (such as our own 😉).
