Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. “Easy to apply but washes off straight away. Left it on for a lot longer than recommended time to see if that helped but washed off with just water. Wouldn't use again”

Hi, thank you so much for the review, we really appreciate it! Some of our recommended aftercare tips are to not wash your hair for 48hrs after dying. Use a good shampoo and conditioner when you do that's kind to colour. However, there is more information available on our website. Our Vibrant Colour Shampoo's help to preserve the vibrancy of colour however aftercare advice does need to be followed to prevent fading.

“Lilac colour is completely wrong. Turned my hair a very pale blue and was super patchy, even green in some places.”

“Terrible never buying again. My hair is still blond. Massive waste of money. Ive been doing my own hair for nearly 20 years, used crazy colour in the past, used to be great. Basically, I know what I’m doing. asked for a refund but had no reply. They are shut for the weekend now and I can’t buy the good stuff till I get my money back.”

“I have a blonde balayage, admittedly not of the lightest, whitest blonde but it certainly reflects the medium blonde before image used by crazy colours. So while I didn't expect light grey hair from using the graphite dye, I did expect to see SOME difference after using this product. I bought two bottles plus a bowl and brush which including shipping cost me nearly £18 and there were ZERO results. The dye is very light grey and does not seem to be very pigmented at all. Turned out to be a very expensive and time consuming conditioning treatment.”

“Ordered the same colour I always have (red) and a different dye was in the bottle!! When wet it looked red but has come out purple! So annoyed and don’t feel comfortable at all. Please respond to the complaint I’ve already made as soon as possible!”

“Very disappointed with this product as it simply did not work as it should. Bought the black to colour my light brown hair for a party and having followed the instructions exactly my hair only resulted in being a tiny bit darker! It was nowhere near black. Poor product.”

Hello Jade, We are sorry your parcel took so longer than expected to arrive. We shut down over the festive period until the 4th, there was an additional delay on the 7th with our courier. “I placed an order halfway through December and have not had the products or any update, in spite of repeated emails and phone calls. I will take this up with my card provider, I want a refund. Abysmal customer service.”

We are so sorry for the delay with your order, as stated on our website we were closed for two weeks during the festive period therefore any orders placed from the 21st onwards were not shipped until the 4th of January. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and can confirm that your order will now be in transit.

“Absolutely awful customer care! Have tried to contact them on numerous occasions now to find out where my order is as it’s been nearly 4 weeks (was ordered for a 2-3 working day delivery) and still no one has gotten back to me. I’ve used their products before and was happy but have bought from a wholesale or hair dressers, never from them direct. Due to this awful service it’s making me question even using their products at all if this is the way they deal with customers.”

“Used hot purple for the top of my hair and lilac for the tips this was all done on prelivhtened hair have been a white blonde for 6 months the hot purple turned my hair to more of a patchy denim blue and the lilac has turned my ends to a very pale blue massive waste of money and no where near the colours that they are labeled as”
