“The online booking system they use allows you to book from point to point in advance. That would be excellent, except they then review the booking to see if they want the job or not and cancel if they don't. They did issue a refund which can take up to 10 days. So they got the use of my money for a week for free but its terrible customer service to use an online booking system that doesn't actually reflect what you do. I was told on the phone that they only do airport transfers - which is fine, some "airport transfer" companies do that, and some do regular trips too. But why sign up for a booking system that suggests they do anything else? Very frustrating.”

“your confirmation of my order came back incorrect so I immediately cancelled the order and spoke to you on the phone. You still took my £410 payment from my credit card and have not been refunded. I guess this review is for your eyes only looking to review you on other medias.”

“Well after reading great reviews thought would give these guys a try. Going to Luton was great, all went smoothly. Coming back had horrendous service, no notification of dispatch like when we went to Luton, thought was strange, rang company they said they would find out were driver was and will get them to phone me, 30 mins later still nothing, kept phoning, still there waiting an hour later. Then they said driver was there but couldn’t find us. Eventually driver rang and said were we ready… er yes we’ve been waiting an hour, he said oh the company didn’t tell me you’ve been waiting I’m not in the airport yet. So I said well can you come now please as been waiting, his response ‘ well the whole world is having problems’. It doesn’t stop there, he came and then said had to come out of airport and go back in to pick up a member of cabin crew and drop them off, I wasn’t happy but he said couldn’t leave him, then when finally got to him there was 2 of them, so before taking us home he took them to separate addresses so this added another 30 mins to our journey. No apology nothing. I have emailed them to say not happy but nothing. How unprofessional and rude and lied to me as well. Won’t be using again!”

“Disappointing service. 10 minutes late for my pick up to the airport and then 30 minutes late for the pick up for my return journey from the airport. On the return journey the driver didn’t apologise, he just made excuses saying that I gave the wrong flight number and falsely claimed that he had called me 5 times but my phone was switched off. This is the second time I’ve used this taxi firm for an airport transfer… the drivers have never been on time. Would not recommend, when you’re trying to catch a flight or you’re tired after coming off a flight it’s an unnecessary stress. I won’t be using them again.”

“Booked a return journey online stated we wanted to pay cash then got emails and a call wanting card payment or it cant be booked as a previous owner of a taxi company im to aware how often people payed a local company in advance only to get a no show by the taxi company, when we told them just cancel it we would go elsewhere all of a sudden he agreed we could pay cash this after denying it said on there website you can opt to pay cash, a company to avoid”

“Cheating for me is a deal breaker for me , I always told the previous women that I've had relationships with, the moment you are unfaithful is the moment you end our relationship. If I've ever felt so disconnected from my partner that I have felt myself drawn even into a hypothetical affair in my mind, I end the relationship. I've been in many abusive relationships (that I ultimately ended) but never once have I been unfaithful. Why? Because no failing relationship is worth sacrificing my morals and integrity for. No matter how it unfolds with a partner, there should be a base level of respect and empathy towards them as a human being. “We have used 1st Airport Taxis 3 times now but most recently I booked them for our first trip back to the UK (from Australia) and now with 2 small children in tow. I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve ever had with a taxi company, from booking from overseas to confirming all our extra requirements like baby car seats etc to meeting our wonderful driver Abbas at arrivals, it was all seamless. The car was perfect- more than enough room for our cases (and extra baggage we had to bring at the last minute), the car seats looked brand new and fitted safely and Abbas was a real pleasure, driving carefully and letting us sleep most of the way. I booked our return journey to the airport with them straight away as I had been so impressed yet again. And I will book with them again next time 😊”

“I chose this company on the basis of supplying car seats for children- 2 boosters were required. The taxi picking up my son and family from Gatwick late at night with 2 small children was 45 minutes late and only had one booster seat. The taxi due this morning at 5.00am was 30 minutes late but at least had the correct seats this time. I will never use this company again. Please be aware that when you book with this company that you are not actually booking a taxi. They are a holding company who put out the jobs to those who bid. In spite of many solicitous emails asking for flight details, arrival times etc nothing worked. They also don’t tell you that they don’t go into arrivals to meet you but that you have to find them somewhere near The Sofitel Hotel.”

“1st booking was on December 25th 2022 Booking was for 04:30 taxi arrived at 04:15 which is fine but to call and advise the driver wants to finish his shift I understand when you are on the last drop you want to just get it done But customer service seems to be missing somewhat”

“Excellent service. easy to book and the process of updating me was excellent. we arrived late back into a packed airport. the driver kept me updated that he was even struggling to park. the meet was very clear and the driver was superb, friendly and helpful. the car was very good, clean and comfortable. we arrived back in a snow storm and the driver made our journey fell safe and relaxing. would highly recommend”

“We landed at Luton airport. Coming to uk for holiday. I will start with the positive The driver was there on time. The price was good. ***BUT*** The car we ordered (minibus) was very old and the windows at the back couldn't completely closed there for we had a wind coming in. We could see someone tried putting toilet paper trying to stop the wind. So they knew about the problem. When I tried talking to the driver he played like he knows nothing about it? 40 min drive with a 4 degree outside as we arrived in the middle of the night!!! Me, my husband and my 18 months baby became sick the next day! We all had to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Not to mention the cost of going to see a privet GP as we are tourist So our holiday started really bad thanks to that. How can you provide a car knowing the windows don't seal? Very disappointed!!!”
