“Before Christmas I enquired about a slipcase for the Ice Age Giants Three Coin Collection and on 8 January Customer services promised to send me one. Unfortunately they sent it to a 3 year old address. I never received it and asked if they could send another. I have had emails confirming that they have removed my old address, but no confirmation that I will receive a slipcase.”
“The Royal Mint website is informative & easy to follow. Although my items were not in stock, having chosen to proceed with the order, I was kept updated.
My order was delivered as promised & was well packaged. I was very pleased with the coins which were as described.”
“I have purchased quite a few uncirculated coins from the Royal Mint.
Two of my grandsons collect coins and as a result I buy them coins to go in their collections.
Coins arrive quite quickly and are packaged up well.”
“Dear Sir/Madam
The buying process on the web is very easy. The coins are both precious, The Paul Mccartney one is better, because being bigger you can see the details better and color is more visually striking.
The only problem is that you cannot give a billing address different from the delivery address. In my case, ordering from Barcelona, I have had to pay not only the VAT, but the cost of the paperwork taxes being made, that has been 19,11 Pounds in total for an order of 42,08 Pounds. Imagine if I had ordered a gold coin.
I have friends in London, where I travel very often. It would have been much cheaper for me to give my adress as belling adress and my friends adress as delivery adress.
Yours sincerely,
Francisco Sabater”
