“I have tried many fad diets in the past. Considering I am 57yrs old I should know better. My diet has being somewhat erratic and trying to keep hunger at bay when at work is no easy task. I only tried this because I do prefer wholefoods so I thought why not. I have been using this for a good few weeks now and I am pleasantly pleased. My porridge with a nutrition flavoured drink actually fills me from 6am untill 2pm when I have my lunch at work. Love the jam porridge its my favourite as I have a sweet tooth and the chocolate orange drink. Plenty to choose from and the soups are amazing especially the beetroot and coconut, who would have thought of that combination but its my favourite. Love the nutty bits as I don’t like other smooth protein shakes. I am not regulated with weighing myself but I do feel more comfortable in my clothes and I have never been bloated and thats a positive for me. So far so good.”
“Well, to put it simply, I hate them. I really wanted to like them but I can’t even swallow them. They’re so bitter. I feel like there’s something wrong with me as everyone else seems to love them and I can’t even stand them in my mouth. The grainy nut ground is one thing but there’s something in them, perhaps the almond(?) that is so bitter I just can’t stand it. I bought the 14 tester type sachets and have finally quit after four. I tried with natural yoghurt; I tried making it into porridge with milk; I tried flavoured sweet chocolatey and fruit yoghurts to try to mask the taste but no matter what I still could not eat them. I was so disappointed as it seemed like it would be perfect for someone like me who can’t have sugary breakfasts but nope, just can’t force myself to eat them, they make my face grimace with the bitterness. The yoghurt just made it even worse sadly. I haven’t tried into smoothies or shakes because I don’t want to drink my breakfast or bits of grain. As someone that can eat grainy non pulsed chia, I still could not cope with this because of the flavour. I must have an aversion to the taste of the chopped nuts but it’s odd because I love the whole versions. Sadly, I’ve got to try and find someone to give them to and hopefully they’ll enjoy them.”
Thanks for giving Purition a try and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear it wasn’t for you. The natural flavour of the seeds and nuts can come through quite strongly, and with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, it’s naturally much less sweet than many breakfast options.
Some people find it helps to make Purition their own by adding a little mashed banana, a few frozen berries or a sprinkle of cinnamon to gently sweeten the flavour – but we understand it’s not for everyone. We really appreciate you giving it a fair go and for sharing your thoughts.
“This is my one and only go to protein powder. I don't like flavoured products, I find them very sweet. This is the best non flavoured product that I can add to anything and you wouldn't know it was there.”
“Great taste, I use mine with semi skimmed milk and use it for my breakfast 6 days out of 7.
With some I add either a banana oft fresh blueberries to give me a bit more as I don’t have lunch until after 1.00pm.”
“Really great texture.
Love the "mixed berry" in Greek yogurt with added fruit.
"Apple and blackerry" is amazing and makes the most incredible tasting pancakes as well.”
“I love Purition for breakfast, it sets me up for the day. My favourite way to eat it is with Greek yoghurt. The flavours are delicate and not at all overpowering. The texture is great too. It's easy to alter my subscription if I'm going to be away on the day my next delivery is due.
I have no hesitation in recommending Purition”
“Just started my diet journey and needed something quick and easy, and full of protein. So decided to try Purition. I wasn't disappointed, with so many different flavours to choose from, and it's so easy to make. It fills me up just right. I would highly recommend Purition.”
“As a menopausal woman I struggle to control my appetite and weight - step-in Purition!!! On a hungry day I can have it mid afternoon simply mixed with milk to stop me reaching for sugary snacks! But my favourite way is with Greek yogurt and fruit adding extra taste and texture. Yum!”
“I love that it appears to be wholesome ingredients, I like the grainy less processed texture. You MUST blend to get a thick frothy shake. I have bought a mini blender to leave at work. You need to try all the flavours to find the ones you like. I enjoy the milder almond and cocoa , but find the coconut or berry not to my liking. Increasing protein at breakfast sets me up to make healthy choices for the rest of the day. I have for a late breakfast everyday. It’s the only switch I’ve made and have lost 30lb in three months.,”
“Never tried a protein drink before but thought I would after researching many, I was really impressed with natural products I this one.
So, I thought i would give it a go and I love it. I have mine for breakfast.
They definitely keep you full.
There are many flavours to choose from and my personal favourite is mixed berry.
I tell people about this product and recommend they try it.”
“Love these easy to use "meal in a sachet"! The nut ones are my favourites, I like the slightly grainy, seedy texture. They're super easy to blend and are filling & energy boosting for a pre exercise morning drink. Beats my usual swig a strong coffee & run, habit. Much better for me and great when I just can't face cooking& eating an actual meal.”
