“Tried this brand a few weeks ago, and absolutely love them. The gritty bits aren't like others protien powders because you can taste that they are nuts and grains which add to the flavour and texture.

“I am struggling a bit at the moment with the taste of the shakes. I got a few different flavours in sample sachets of the vegan range as l can’t have dairy or soy. I am now trying different plant based milks with them to see if that improves the flavour slightly. I will stick with them & hopefully my taste buds will adjust. It is true that there is quite an earthy, savoury taste to them.

Purition is made using whole food ingredients, mainly chopped and ground seeds and nuts, plus freeze dried fruits and botanicals for flavour, rather than using artificial sweeteners or flavourings. That means the taste is more subtle and natural compared to sweeter, more processed shakes, which isn’t what everyone is expecting.
We do understand that flavour is very personal, and it won’t be the right fit for everyone.
