“I applied for the Premier TEFL Internship in Taiwan. The application process is simple - you'll fill in an online form, be contacted by the school within a few days, set up a skype interview and (if successful!) begin gathering the documentation and making the arrangements to begin teaching abroad. So far, I have found the 240-Hour course to be easy to navigate and fully comprehensive in a variety of topics, from theoretical methods of language learning to practical classroom management and lesson planning. Each topic is very detailed but split into a number of different components - it's nowhere near as intimidating as being handed a textbook to learn! I was able to use the information in my TEFL to prepare a teaching demo and secure my place in the Taiwan internship. The standard of customer service received was very high - everyone I spoke to seemed genuinely friendly and eager to answer any questions. I'm feeling very positive about starting my first TEFL job and couldn't be happier with Premier TEFL. :)”

“Content could be better written. Module 6 in particular - the phonetic chart - is poorly explained. Now,,,, Today the link to get the content for Module 7 (TEFL 120 hour programme) is not working. It is the link just under Module 7: Teaching Receptive Skills. Very poor!!!”

“I completed the 250hr online TEFL course which was part of a TEFL Scholarship Qualification. I found the site easy to use and I was impressed with the variety of topics covered in the training modules! There is a lot of material in the modules, however, the quiz at the end of each module is not too difficult. I like that the modules include reflective tasks throughout as it kept me engaged with the material. What I was most impressed by was the standard of customer service I received from the TEFL staff while I was completing this training. They were quick to answer my queries and extremely helpful when I encountered a problem.”

“I learnt about premier TEFL over the internet whilst looking for languages employment. The information they provided really caught my attention so I signed up. The application process ended up taking several hours and continuous contact with the support staff was required to even submit the application. After my rejection, they would not give me a reason as to why. However, the staff were helpful.”

The videos are fun, and they provide a lot of encouragement to get you through the longer lessons. “Right from the very beginning, the team ensured that you get all the assistance that you need. I get to talk to a consultant prior to enrollment and we had a chat about prospects, how Premier TEFL works, especially if it's going to be worth my time. I was completing my MSc at the same time so initially I thought juggling both might get chaotic. As it turns out, I managed to complete 240 hours in less than the allocated 3 months. The way the syllabus had been outlined, the references provided, a decent choice of old and new videos, Premier TEFL provides a systematic method of learning. I like that most of all. Just too bad half of the internship/scholarship opportunities are 'passport holder' specific but at least I'm qualified to apply for other opportunities elsewhere. Still a win. Highly recommend Premier TEFL whether you're a native or non-native English speaker. Plenty you can benefit from; content is easy to learn, clean interface, user-friendly, back-end is incredibly helpful as replies are usually within a day, what more can you ask for? 10/10 enjoyed the entire journey with Premier TEFL.”

“Taking the 240hr course seemed a bit stressful for me at first, but I couldn't be happier with the final result. Being able to set my own pace was extremely helpful, and I feel like I have a solid base to get started on my journey! I did have some trouble making contact with customer service through email, but was able to quickly get my problem solved with a quick phone call. Overall, I would definitely recommend Premier for the budget learner looking for a comprehensive learning experience.”

“The 240 hour telf course which I am currently completing is comprehensive and does provide a good balance behind the theory and understanding the need for the different aspects of tefl teaching (i.e. writing, reading listening, grammar etc), however I do wish that this particular layout did have more videos as there is a lot of reading and I'm not sure how much you actually take in when just reading. I do know that this has been somewhat rectified in their new 170 tefl course which is meant to be more interactive and has more videos, but unfortunately, I enrolled to my current course a week after this new updated course was released. Shame really.”

“Although I came to this certification course after having taught EFL for a few years, I still learned a lot. It balances theory and practical classroom applications fairly well. I particularly enjoyed the videos showing real-world in-class examples. The course definitely enlarged my "toolbox" for teaching, and I would recommend it for convenience and value.”
