“Finding the product I wanted, ordering, and arranging delivery was very easy. I opted to pay more for FedEx delivery as the Royal Mail in our area are awful. I received the usual despatch emails from Opie and this was confirmed by communication from FedEx as expected, with the package due to arrive within approx 4 days. A day or so later I received an email from FedEx to say sorry that my item had been delayed and would be delivered over a week later!! Apart from the fact the car was in the garage waiting for the fluid, I was annoyed after paying for delivery that should have been faster than this. The product was then actually delivered the very next day, sooner than I was expecting so very happy on the whole, just very confusing to have received such different messages from FedEx.”

“Service from Opie Oils was very good but sevice from from Fedex not so. Delivery driver didn't knock and just threw the parcel down on a pile of block paving that then fell into the house downpipe and broke the securing bracket, I picked up the parcel and everything was falling out as he'd damaged the box.”

“Opie oils have been incredibly helpful after the courier delivered my parcel to some unknown, untraceable location with no photo or signature. Complete replacement delivery turned around in double quick time. Can't ask more than that. This is why I continue to use Opie.”

“No problem from Opie Oils themselves, the problem was with the courier. I paid for the express delivery service and from looking at Opie's website, provided the order is submitted before 2pm (which it was), delivery would be the next day. The delivery didn't actually arrive until the 3rd day after ordering so felt I'd paid for Express delivery needlessly. Throughout the process, I received delivery updates from Fedex saying it would be delivered between 9:40am and 12:40pm, then updated to be by 6pm and then by end of day but delivery didn't take place. The following day the Fedex update was that the parcel had arrived in London (over 24 hours to get there) before finally being delivered on the 3rd day. As I need the materials to finish a job I'd started, I drove to Sheffield on the 2nd day of waiting to go and collect some in person from another supplier which was a 210 mile round trip. Can't say this was a pleasant shopping experience and certainly one that I would repeat. As mentioned earlier, realise this wasn't Opie Oils fault but unfortunately my contract was with them and not the courier.”
