“Both 5 litre cans of 40 oil were damaged in transit due to insufficient packing to resist handling impact. Luckily the cans didn't leak but I wasn't impressed with your level of transport protection. Regards. Stuart Burton”

Hi Stuart, Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear your order arrived in that condition. All of our parcels are packed to withstand normal transit, however given the distance from us here in Cornwall up to Scotland, parcels do go through multiple handling points within the courier network. It does sound like it may have had a tougher journey than expected in this instance. That said, we take comments like this seriously and will review the packing used to ensure it’s as robust as it should be. “I’ve used Opie oils a few times now, they came highly recommended from a good friend of mine, great genuine products, I’m always worried buying from anywhere else as there are lots of copies around, they are competitively priced and great communication regarding deliveries and invoicing, I would highly recommend them and definitely would not go anywhere else for my classic 70s trail bikes. Gay Lamb”

“Good order - ordered two sets of oils for 2 cars. Would've been nice to have 2 sets of pouring funnels! The castrol one came with a plastic attachment and I couldn't for the life of me get the thing to work. Made a mess! Also they through a washer in a large box with no packaging. Slipped into the folds of the box at the bottom. Shove it in an envelope perhaps? Other than that - good stuff. Have used Opie for many years.”

Thanks for the review. I am very sorry for the issues there. I can confirm you should have received 2 packs of pouring funnels, unfortunately this must have been missed by the warehouse. I have spoken to our customer services team and they will arrange for the missing kit to be sent out. The washer should have absolutely been packaged better, I will pass this onto our warehouse manager to review. Once again I do apologise for the inconvenience caused here.
