“Ordered a black mini fridge 4L Portable Mini Fridge - Black or White £22.50 instead of £79.99 for a 4L Portable Mini Fridge from Hirix - door was damaged I have tried for four days with emails to HIRIX customer service asking for a returns label to no avail, they don’t read your emails , I have given up ! Maybe this is what they want you to do !!!”

“Ordered Hungarian pillows the arrived from silent night Bradford... Dreadfull!!!! dreadfull!!!!! quality nothing like the description at all just shoved in the plastic postal bag and sent... Have tried to negotiate the atrocious Wowcher website but can't get anywhere emails just pinging back can't find a telephone number anywhere they are just a rip off company I thought it was safe they advertise on TV..... No no no!!!”

“1) I was sold a refurbished product without any mention during the sale that the item is not new. Original price show £259 was for a new product. 2) During the sale I was told that the cost of vip member ship £4.99 will be covered by the discount of £5 but it was charged on top of the price (discount was never applied) 3) during sale the shipping was displayed as £0 but on redemption of the voucher there was a £9.99 delivery charge The whole thing is absolutely despicable, a big fat con”

“AVOID Wowcher at all costs. Scam company. Wowcher = Scam Company. We ordered 2 beds and was given a delivery date of today (29/4/24) or before. We took the day off work for the delivery but they did not arrive. When we chased with Wowcher we were told delivery will be 100 working days ?!? And when we log onto our account it still clearly states delivery will be 29th April 2024 or before ! Avoid this company at all costs. We have tried to contact them on email / whatsapp / messenger but no response. We are now in contact with Trading Standards, The Ombudsman, and the credit card company we used. Absolutely shameful company.”

“I purchased 3 driving experiences for 3 of my children for Christmas presents and the PSR (company) experience could not fit them in for many months and wanted to double the price for a weekend upgrade. At no time were we told the could not accommodate the spaces nor that we would have to pay lots more to use the vouchers at the weekend. This is pretty obviously a scam as children can only go on weekends due to school. Wowcher have said as you did not redeem your vouchers they expired and tough luck as its in the small print. I explained the whole situation and they couldn't give a damn! As you can see from the thousands of bad reviews I have deleted the app and will never use them again.”

“The mystery holiday is a scam, they tried to charge us an extra £130 for travelling on our preferred dates and tried to massively upsell add ons. Customer service is terrible and they ignore you. Avoid”

“PLEASE DO NOT USE WOWCHER - REFUSE TO REFUND - BEWARE If a voucher is not redeemed merchant does not receive the order so Wowcher keep your money and don't offer a refund!!!!!!”

“DO NOT DO MYSTERY HOLIDAY! on the phone the man said there is ALWAYS a supplement charge whatever you pick. There is so many hidden costs and charges on top of this customer service from Weekender breaks is dreadful: slow responses, the use aggressive sales tactics and will relentlessly push you to purchase an upgrade as well as send the same automatic message almost constantly. Save yourself the stress and hassle and just book it on your own terms.”

“BEWARE, FALSE ADVERTISING! They sell cheap trips and then push you to “upgrade” to substandard hotel, different city or even country, and charge you double, or triple if you need more luggage. From various reviews I can see they can change everything last minute, direct tourist to closed hotels and even virtually hack into private Ryanair accounts! I will be reporting the company to trading standards, as this is clear example of misleading advertising, unfair deal and unreasonable and contradictory T&C. Book elsewhere if you want a peace of mind!”

“Beware of their holiday deals! Beware of their holiday deals, it’s scam! I bought flights and good hotel for a couple of days in Mallorca. When they called me they tried to give me substandard hotel (with very bad reviews), wanted to charge me additional £99 per person and I wouldn’t even be in Mallorca guaranteed 40 hrs! They also charged me additional booking fee, which I did not authorised! I asked for a refund, as they clearly are not able to provide what I had purchased, but they seem to be very evasive and refused to cancel. Scam, they advertise cheaply only to push you to ‘upgrade’. Very unpleasant experience, book elsewhere to save your time, money and nerves!”
