“I just bought a red hooded fleece from Wowcher and I am highly disappointed to say the least. I received the order a week ago and I'm already planning to throw into the bin. This is a waste of money. Highly disappointed”

“Needed to send goods back as packaging heavily damaged. Tried three times to contact seller before contacting Wowcher. Very poor customer service. Send request to complete survey before I had actually finished with complaint”

“Wowcher offers are pretty good for offers, the thing that lets them down is the extra work you have to do to get a delivery redeeming voucher codes etc I didn’t realise this, been waiting patiently for parcels & have just found out I’ve possibly lost at least 6 parcels as voucher code has run out. I don’t know if I’ll get a refund or if I’ve lost my money. It needs to be made far more clearer especially for elderly people like myself.”

“Trying to get through to a person is impossible! I know you have live chat, but it took 3 days to connect with a virtual person! All 6 options on the phone refer to back to the app site... So infuriating”

“Was going to contact woucher re a booking I had for a hotel which is in tier 3 lock down and so wanted to cancel. Every other company is letting you do this but looking at your response to Covid questions it appears you are not. Was going to contact you but disappointed that can not contact by phone or email and that your live chat is only available office hours. I will have to think very seriously before booking hotel or restaurant offers with you in future”

“I have been trying to contact you for hours by phone and email and live chat to sort a refund as I mentioned that my disabled son accidentally got hold of my phone and accidentally ordered something he was pressing buttons and no one has got back to me to sort it out”

“Bought an item from Wowcher only for it to arrive multiple days after its due date, I would say an estimated delivery means it could be 2-3 days late but it was 4 days late. This mean it no longer met the the description I needed as the time gap I needed it for. If I knew it was going to rain I would buy an umbrella that would arrive before that day. But imagine the umbrella arriving days after the rain, leaving you soaked and let down. At least with an umbrella I could use it again another day. What I ordered met a time sensitive thing which is why I bought from Wowcher. I tried to email them to get a refund even if partial only to get no response from multiple Contacted several emails and was led on a goose chase They didn't give me the correct information and it felt more like talking to a robot. In the end I did not get my refund or partial refund. The item is still in my room wrapped in its original packaging. If your looking for a gift or present, Wouldn't choose Wowcher. Not great support. Delivery is late. Also they do not seek customer satisfaction itself. If there product is okay and not as described that is all they worry about not the general satisfaction of the buyer.”

“Most of the items I've checked are cheaper elsewhere. It seems the companies that sell on Wowcher have bogus websites to show that the item for sell has an over inflated price, so they can then pretend to sell at a whooping 80% discount. One item was a Quad bike for £200 and on sellers website over £500 - however he was also selling on ebay for £169 - but if you add up the postage, it all came out the same. Most of these companies are buying in cheap from China, create over priced websites and it looks like a new trend of selling on Wowcher, or similar sites. I know that Wowcher needs to generate money, but it seems at the expense of the customer - pretty sad really. Don't get me wrong I do think you have valid offers on the site, but not that many - and most are of the type above to "pad" out their range of offers.”

“Firebreathing Effect Walking & Roaring Dinosaur Toy. This is the toy I purchased, actually I bought 2 because they were being offered in different colours. They were £14.99 (+P&P) each. Bargain! I received them later than expected, but was being kept up to date with delivery information from Wowcher so that goes in their favour. I think the toy itself is a great and would entertain and delight any child. However, in the case of both of these toys they're not packaged particularly well, in that they rattle around in the boxes and some might liken the plastic used to make these toys a bit cheap as well, so I think parts could be easily broken in transit. The toy needs a little bit of ‘very easy’ assembly which is just as well as there are no instructions included. It also looks like there is suppose to be a screw where the battery compartment is. If is the case, this part is missing on both toys. The other detail I thought I’d mention is the fact this toy has been made and comes from China, obvious from the Chinese writings all over the shipping box and box containing the toy, hence probably why it is being sold cheaper on Wowcher than what most people would think a toy like this would cost and I certainly find it hard to believe it would be sold anywhere for the RRP Wowcher were advertising at £79.99! Also I believe because of it's origins from China, this is why there is no CE marking, which is displayed to meet standards for the safety of toys being used for play by children less than 14 years of age. On the boxes of the toys the age stated is 3+. Overall I think it is a case of you get what you pay for. But I will not be buying any more toys like this from Wowcher again.”

“I requested a refund on an item which I sent back on 29th July, they stated they actioned refund 1st Aug, it's now 12th Aug and still nothing, waste of time trying to contact them by either by phone or e mail no response.”
