“I ordered 2 things from Wowcher. Initially the product took ages to go through - I had forgotten I had ordered it by the time it was delivered. The second was a spa day. The experience looked great so I bought 1 to take my mum as a treat. When I called the Spa however, there were lots of add ons and it was basically pointless to just use the wowcher booking... I ended up having to pay extra just to access the facilities as wowcher hadn't made it clear that it was treatment only. Wouldn't recommend. Stick to paying a little extra so you know what you're getting.”

“have contacted help desk 3 times to sort out problem and still unresolved. unable to use my credit to make a purchase which is visible on my payment page. funny cos it will take money off my card if I try and purchase without using any of my credit!!!”

“Out of two purchases on Wowcher one never turned up for my husbands birthday despite ordering weeks in advance & spening ages chasing it up - eventually I got a refund. The second was an oven clean by Kitchen Dirt Devils and the service was diabolical. They never turned up and then lied saying they left me a voicemail when my phone doesn't accept messages and there were no missed calls. When they eventually arrived they came 3 hours late, the person cleaning the oven looked like they needed a good clean the self & we're very scruffy. It's impossible to contact Wowcher to complain so we are Unsubscribing now.”

“I had to 'chat' because I couldn't make the link work for a refund on an email Wowcher set me. I tried to phone and after holding on for over 15mins the line went dead. As I think about it, maybe I should have given a 3/5 rating.”

“i ordered a straightening brush when it didn`t arrive i contacted the seller to be told it must be lost in the post and a refund was arranged, i believe the seller lied to me and the product was never dispatched, for that reason i cannot trust wowcher when they deal with people like this so i won`t be ordering again”

“Bought a Dash cam via Wowcher deal (£20). Received cheap and nasty low grade item that sells for less than £10 on EBay. Be careful that you know what you are buying as Wowcher is obviously being used by companies to sell overpriced rubbish disguised as a great Wowcher deal. BE WARNED!!!”

“The process was cumbersome and confusing to a new user. Only after placing order did I find out that the item I wanted was out of stock. This should be clear at point of sale. Agent who reviewed my request for a refund was polite, helpful and acted promptly.”

“Ordered a Segway experience dated available from (31st October to 31st December) thinking this would be a good Christmas pressi to do between Christmas and new year. When I rang to book a date the last date for my location was 2nd Dec and the whole event for any location last date was 18th December. So how can they advertise this as being available until 31st. When I contacted woucher they said the woucher had been redeemed. It was up to me to sort it out what a joke! Eventually woucher have credited my credit card rather than the woucher wallet they wanted to credit me with, what for another dud deal? No thanks!”

“In general Wowcher customer services are good, however on many occasions the merchandise you are selling is not a bargain at all and can be bought cheaper else where. I bought one of your goodie bags where it shows you all this really nice stuff you could get in it and when it came there was two tubes of fake bake tan cream, what a waste of money. Bought a morphs Richards bin and that came with a great big dent in it. The quality of merchandise used to be much better and the deals were genuine., not much in the way of a bargain now.”

“We originally purchased a trip to Malta, we found that our dates were unavailable (understandably not Wowcher's fault at all), however when contacting customer services for help with the refund we waited months before getting a valid response, by which time the deal had expired. Wowcher refused to refund the money, however after much discussion did agree to recredit it to our account, which we thought was better than nothing. We used the credit to purchase another break, after checking the dates with the merchant before hand. What was not included in the fine print offered by Wowcher however is that the merchant will add on taxes etc and therefore the price advertised by Wowcher is not in fact you will pay. If it looks too good to be true it usually is! The whole process has been stressful and confusing - in future we'll pay the extra money for the ease and reassurance of booking elsewhere.”

“Gin flight in Glasgow club 29 this was 3gins each and fruit to add or should I say no fruit got 2 raspberry s 2 very sm pieces of grapefruit and 2rinds of an orange well very sm rinds of a very small part of the orange”

“I bought laser hair removal treatment from wowcher and the salon providing this service is His &Hers in Kingscross.I chose kingscross as it is easier for me to travel over there.First treatment was alright but for mythird treatment i went there and it was closed. No one bothered to let me know about the closure and I wasn't the only one waiting , there were many costumers waiting outside.My treatment is still not over and today I received a call from his &hers that that from 2nd of July they'll be providing services in woodford green not in Kingscross as it's closing fon for refurbishment.That's not the first time the salon is doing so ,I read some reviews that this happened before too.If i would have know then I wouldn't have bought any treatment from them.Wowcher should look into before selling such things.I have to do more treatment and I don't know where should I go and travelling to woodford green will be time consuming and more expensive..Just to warn people not to buy treatment from his &hers as they are very unprofessional and not reliable. They don't ever pick up their phone and despite leaving message for them.”

“I bought a MacBook which was from portable universe company. I redeem my voucher by, Wowcher . The MacBook was rubbish , stopped working after secondary use. I asked for refund , but Wowcher was not helpful. I spook with portable universe. They den eyed for refund, I should pay for post and package and return. To repair my MacBook . The price of post and package will be more then the price of a MacBook within a year. I shared my bad experience with Wowcher .”

“I bought a in car camera supposed to cost £75 for £16 plus £5 p&p. Arrived Ok but it has no data card so that's another £8 and then I found could buy the very same camera for about £20 with a card. The instruction book does not make sense as it seems to be a literal translation from Chinese which has lost all it's meaning...I don't think I will order from Wowcher again it seems like they inflate the price and then cut it to make you think you are getting a deal.”

“Wowcher seem ok but avoid buying anything from SA PRODUCTS - there are numerous other bad reviews on here about them. The goods I ordered from them are faulty but they refuse to refund or replace them, claiming it is "general wear and tear". Poor quality products and poor customer service.”

“Purchased 2 Mac make up courses, one for myself and one for my daughter for £29. The lecturer was fine but there was enough make uo to go round. We were also promised a set of brushes with the course. We never got them. Aome unfortunate ladies had come all the way from the Midlands to find their course cancelled! I would not have booked the course in retrospect.”

“Funnily enough I am having exactly the same problem listed below. I've ordered a coat from Marcus Emporium and haven't received it within the advised delivery times. No response from Marcus Emporium, who I've emailed twice and contacted on Facebook (funnily enough I did notice that the last post on their Facebook was made in 2014 which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence) and all Wowcher are doing is sending my the same text from their website about contacting the retailer - no help at all. This is the 2nd time I've had an issue with being able to redeem a product with Wowcher, so I'm going to be cancelling my account once this is resolved. It's all good trying to save money, but when you're paying for things you aren't getting... It's just not worth the hassle. I would totally avoid.”

“Ordered a remote controlled drone 2 weeks ago with a delivery timescale of 3-5 working days, contacted Marcus emporium twice, no response, contacted wowcher webhelp who just keep fobbing me off with copy and pasted text from their FAQ's regarding allowing the delivery timescale to pass and contacting the merchant, both of which I've done. Very disappointed”
