“I bought knickers for my girlfriend phoned twice they never arrived got a refund in the end. Waited ages for the mystery 15 pound gift total Rubbish had to chase this up car charger don't work pen fell apart what a con deanhutton@live.com”

“I had ordered couple of things from wowcher, I rang to the customer service but no one answer quick ... it is very frustrating ...very poor customer service.. i would like to add a number which is normally free from BT and some of mobiles do have free numbers to do eg :- 01, 02... the number for wowcher customer service is :- 02036995024, in case someone is ringing 0845 number.. hope it help.”

“Pass the Buck Have bought a couple of items via the Wowcher website and two of them have not been received. The first items was finally refunded after it was proved that no signature had been received for receipt of the parcel despite them saying it had been signed for - asked for proof of signature and hey presto was given refund. Recent item - only one of the 2 items received - items certainly not received in the stated timescale of 5 days. Wowcher don't really want the hassle of you approaching them when there is an issue and they pass the buck back to the supplier. It is only when I said I was taking the matter further I got a result. Customer Service - poor! Avoid at all costs!”

“have used wowcher previous and never had any issues until now.Purchased for a canvas and had issues with payment so went back in by this time it had expired,I contacted both supplier and wowcher via email to be informed someone will contact with 48hrs 4 days later nothing can be done for expired voucher but it took a call and waiting time over over 20 mins to be answered for this to be confirmed. Also site says live chat filled out details for this also then sorry no one is available . Sorry won,t be recommending this site in a hurry”

“I ordered and received a pair or earrings, very nice earrings but damaged. I had these repaired in time for a wedding. The surprise box that turned out to be a Benetton body spray that I could have purchased for approx. £3.00 - think I paid about £10.00 plus postage. A soundball that didn't arrive due to problems with the telephone line. However, I was still charged and after mentioning this was given a refund. I used this to order, again, a soundball that still did not arrive. I was advised to contact Marcus Emporium, which I did, and was promised that this had been dispatched - over two weeks now. I should like to know if anyone who ordered a soundball from the Marcus Emporium has ever received this item? I was promised a refund, again, and will contact my bank tomorrow to make sure that this has happened.”

“I've been waiting over a month for a step counter I ordered, it said it would be delivered within 5 working days, I waited just in case it turned up but no sign, what number do I ring to to request a refund?”

“I have purchased a voucher for a weekend away for my anniversary. My wowcher wouldn't let me access it until yesterday. I have now redeemed but it says I have to book by 12th August which can't do without activity store voucher which takes 7 days. Totally nonsensical. Can't get any response on phone as constantly on hold and the same with live chat. Very poor customer service and presumably now going to get stuck with voucher cant use. Very annoyed”

“I have always found Wowcher very good in the past, quick to respond to queries, correct and fast deliveries, prompt refunds. Recently that has all changed, I had something delivered on Friday 24th July, which turned out to be the wrong colour (I did order the correct colour we wanted) and when speaking to Wowcher they apologised for the error and told me someone would contact me about delivering the correct colour and taking the other away. This task still hasn't happened!!...I have telephoned Wowcher again with no help since and left an email, to which I've had zero response. I have also not been given credit on my account that I requested which is normally done with in a few days. I am seriously considering getting a refund on the wrong colour item and terminating my account with wowcher as they have been a huge let down.”

“I ordered and paid for a subscription for the Daily Mail through Woucher on the 5th may2015. Following several emails to both Woucher and the subscription dept at the Daily Mail I have not received my order worth £56, I am disgusted with the same email I keep receiving from Woucher. They definitely will not help you resolve any issues. Be warned. A.Thomas”

“OMG. I wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order. I am having problems from the outset and these reviews do not look positive! How on earth are these companies allowed to continue? Surely they must must be regulated somewhere along the line...? Looks like I've been had. Thankfully, I didn't spend too much money on 'illusive and poor quality goods'..... but enough for me to grumble about. Oh well, lesson learned. I shalln't be even looking at this website ever again, let alone be tempted to spend my hard earned money! Very disgruntled and cheesed off to say the least!”

“I had been happy with Wowcher until I had to contact them due to difficulty with one of their sellers. Wowcher don't seem to have any customer protection. Once my last 2 items arrive, I will be deleting my account and not using them again. Very disappointed!”

“Be very careful with using Wowcher. And possibly groupon as well. I have used wowcher a few times but shall use them no more. Everything is fine if the product is genuine, but I recently ordered and paid for a spa day for two but when I telephoned the spa to book they said they were not accepting vouchers as they hadn't advertised. Wowcher had them on their list. So I couldn\t us it. Wowcher does not give you your money back. You get a credit with a time limit on it. So if nothing comes up that you want you forfeit the money. This has happened a couple of times and you can't win. Always check with the supplier before purchasing a wowcher to make sure it's real and acceptable and check what you get for it. Beware, if its too cheap its not going to be valuable.”

“No support when goods don't arrive, little challenge back to merchant, perfunctory apology an pointless customer service. Beware any money charged direct with merchant even cost of postage as Wowchet will not refund even if goods haven't arrived. Don't use.”

“I bought two items, first item delivered within 10 days. The second item took nearly a month to deliver, after emails and emails to the company and wowcher. Personally both items I bought from Wowcher not worth the money I paid for it. I definitely not buying anything anymore from Wowcher. Amazon much better even ebay is better than them.”
