I went through whole process of booking accommodation, providing my bank details for it only to say not available. The system should be able to tell me before I got to the stage of providing personal information ie bank details that the said holiday was not available. I then had to ring up the holiday park to see what they could see from their prospective that was available online before successfully booking a more expensive holiday online myself.

Started going to Woolacombe Bay Holiday village in the 1980s when it was run by Rudi Lancaster and family, had fantastic holidays with family always very friendly and super entertainment, continued going until the children got older into the 1990s.we went back in 2007/8 with grandchildren still really good for all ages. Decided to go again this year how things have changed, not very friendly bar/restaurant staff, half the time didn't seem bothered if they served or not, never seen so many dogs, everywhere even in restaurant sniffing round the tables (actually fell out with dog owner about his dog jumping up at MY table) When booked asked if possible to be near clubhouse due to slight mobility problem, actually couldn't have been further away, I understand its not always possible to accommodate every one, but as you ask when booking on line, a simple email to explain wouldn't take to long and give an option of paying extra for a caravan nearer. Cannot comment on entertainment as we only went twice due to position of caravan. Not for us.

On arrival we were shown to our Exclusive Lodge which according to the website and brochure where in their own grassy area away from traffic. Ours was on the road next to the shop and backed onto the car park! There were sweets stuck to the ceiling and holes in the seats in the lounge. We were moved after complaining to reception to a better located lodge but we then had the following issues - several bulbs not working or missing, leaking shower tray, blocked toilets, ripped seats, fridge switched off behind units, stereo filthy dirty and not working and BBQ so rusty it was unusable. This was all sorted after speaking with the House Keeping Manager, but is was not what I was expecting or upto the standard I was expecting for an "Exclusive Lodge"

The silver lodge we stayed in was nothing like the pictures, it was dirty ,the decor was old dressing table, wardrobe was falling to bits. Nothing like what I was expecting, I asked to upgrade & was told the only one they had left was twitching house & it would cost me another £694 extra. There is no way would I have paid any more to have stayed there. But I must say we had a lovely holiday, myself, hubby & 2 grandkids went out every day & made the most of being in the beautiful country Devon.

Caravan needs attention. We do have dogs but it wasn't to standard of caravans in other parks. Especially at the price paid.

After creating an account on a secured website, account details (username and password) are sent by e-mail - all security is lost... Only payment option is by credit card, immediately adding a surcharge in the process. It would be nice to provide other options as well, such as PayPall or even payment upon arrival at the site. Good luck!

The website is confusing as it disappears info depending on how you scroll...first time I've seen this on a website... Too much information doesn't really mean better information. But prices are good...happy to rate after staying..

We stopped in the sliver villas which I wouldn't recommend very dirty, stained sheets, blood on duvet beds are like rock, entertainment at night just for tots, do have some entertainment on but not until you sat throu all kids clubs, which by then your fed up, on arrival our cooker didn't work which I must give them a star for giving us a food voucher for food as the couldn't fix it on that day.not my type of holiday and we wouldn't be returning.

Booked into Woolacombe site to discover that twin axle large caravans cannot fit (nothing in terms and conditions or through booking process). Thankfully I received a phone call and was able to transfer our booking to a different site.

The cleanliness of the rooms and living areas. Finding pubic hair, tags from previous guests in the floor, hair grips, sharp pieces of plastic and so many ants. Only to be offered ant powder. The chair was broken in the front room with staples sticking out.

Easewell Farm touring motorhome - Arrived 1 April 2016 at 17.00hrs notice at reception check in at bar , ok no problem, 19.40hrs went for food to restaurant to be told no one took up franchise so if you want to eat go to Twichen House [ no mention at check in and no offer of transport to get there, 2 x 65 year olds. Phoned Woolcombe Bay 2 April 16 at 09.30 hrs where the sales girl offered to CHARGE us if we wanted to move site and repeated speak to the park manager. otherwise did not want to know ! Woolacombe Bay @ Easwell Farm offer in there brochure, web site, entertainment [ not starting to May 16 ] , restaurant facilities, none at all contravene trades description act. Showers not great some cubicles only 2 foot wide and nothing to stop your clothes getting wet, some had shower heads missing water hot ok. WC water runs to slow to re-flush and ill fitting toilet seats not the proper size and loose fitted sliding from side to side. The pitch we were given A9 the ground slopped away from door making exit from motorhome iffy and erecting awning uneven, there were plenty other flat pitches available but it appears they were kept for seasonal pitchers ? Obviously reading reviews no one stayed at Easwell Farm so stay away guys.

I had to enlist the help of a real person on the telephone as the website accepted my booking for one caravan but would not then allow me to finish booking another. I ended up having to pay an extra £10 for the privilege of booking the second caravan over the phone (no problems there, the service was very good).
