Had to phone as couldn’t change my password- all messages sent went into Junk mail !!!!! Bit time consuming and frustrating! Being elderly I didn’t think to look in Junk mail !

My wife who had made a booking several years ago tried to book, but had problems resetting old password. Solved problem by setting up account in my name.

The payment screen wouldn't allow me to pay it just kept saying "something has gone wrong " and then I had declined payments even though it took the payments

It would have been much easier to book the 4 caravans at the same time & pay the deposit as one transaction rather than 4!

It was ok until they asked for a mobile number as I get no signal at home, and WHY do I have to create an account 😡 all I want to do is book a holiday, so will this information be deleted once my holiday is complete ?

It’s would be better if you could compare accommodation options when booking and link to each accommodation type for example have a tick box chart showing what you get on different accommodation, also you can’t got back to make changes before continuing to payment, you have to start again, lastly I have to refresh the page 4-5 times before my payment went through, even tried different cards, little teadius

found the on line booking frustrating and time consuming would prefer to just phone up to a person book and pay and get any questions answered marked rating as acceptable but long winded

We stayed in a sapphire caravan, which was mediocre really. electrics, keep tripping due to toaster even with everything turned off. rusty radiators and mirrors. Two of the curtain pole ends were missing, so the curtains kept falling off. There was a plastic bit missing from the fridge so one of the shelves wasn’t stable. We chose that caravan as we were promised views of the sea but all we could see were other caravans. And the local produce gift pack was disappointing. Indoor pool was great but very limited due to having to book.

Due to bank app security (approve payment in app) I was unable to make payment. I had to make £40 deposit in order to book

Location was gorgeous, the best! Swimming pool, fab for kids, booking for just an hour, annoying when you can’t get a day slot and only evenings available. The caravan was dirty & I spent the first hour / 2 cleaning up someone else’s sticky hands & crisps. The food onsite, horrible, stay away from the “fish” fingers, they’re so bad & pretty sure no fish in them, grey in colour, just horrible. Also pricey for what you get. You pay for the view. Drinks, average prices. Would return but would ask ahead for caravan to be checked over first.

Not great when trying to book our short break, entered payment details and then the page just hung, says not to refresh or leave so waited but has to give up before an error message was then displayed. Payment processed on second try but was concerned I may have booked twice, not a great booking experience.

We had some issues. We couldn't select August unless we clicked a specific date. We couldn't easily find what was the difference between new wave and other caravans. Are they just newer ones?? It wasn't the worst online booking form I've ever used. It was OK.

Booked using the low deposit option but this option is quite pointless as full payment is needed within less than a couple of weeks

I write in response to my online booking with Woolacombe Bay. The Rating given is a 3 as the campsite has not been experienced yet and does not expect to be visited until 24th July 2023. The online booking took a while as the input page does not accept personal computer(PC) autofill which I found extremely frustrating as it was not clear that the inputs had to be done manually from the outset. Hope this helps others who have a similar experience.

Ok until it came to T&Cs which asked me to confirm I was not bringing a pet into the accommodation . I rang to check because I am bringing one dog in my own caravan. I was told this was fine and the error would be reported. The error remains.

Booking process The price given for the caravan, dates and number of people traveling was £1617 by the time that I had gone through the discount, pay for dog - not specified before - the price rose to £1765. Nowhere did it state this was a 'from' price or the added cost for a pet. To me this is not honest marketing. I have booked as generally your park offered the facilities I was looking for but it is sad that you are not honest about your prices.

The park, staff and the lodge are fantastic. Booking online for next year was hard work. Wouldn't allow me to pay the full amount. Kept saying you can't pay more than the full amount. However we had clicked the 'pay in full' button.
