“I bought this as a second safe to house my rifles. An adequate gun safe, quality is as expected for the price. Delivery was on time well packed. Only downside is twin locks with different keys, and locks not of good quality. I hope the firearms inspection officer passes it”

“I purchased a DK-3B wall safe. The product is good and it was quickly delivered. I wanted to change wall safe order and it took many times to speak to someone as the phone rang ten times and then cut off. When I eventually got through they said they would phone back and they did not. The manufacturer's instructions that came with the safe are wrong. To determine the size of the hole you need to cut out in the wall, the instructions state that you should make the hole 20mm bigger than the size of the front of the safe. If you do that the safe will not fit as the back flange is more than 20mm wider than the front. I had to add 33mm to get my safe to fit. This caused me extra work.”

“Very happy with gun cabinet, good quality although 1 key is a bit dodgy and only opens lock after a lot of wiggling, so keeping that as spare set.”

“I've Oderd for next day but arrived day after because I had some people whiting to help me store the safe desopointed I had to tell them to come back the next day even I had to call to see we're is the safe it arrived late afternoon but I have to say the safe is very good”

“Overall pretty good, buy I think the wall fixing bolts could have been better. They do the job, but are not as good quality as the rest of the purchase.”

“The price was the cheapest on the market for the safe I chose beating my local supplier by eighty quid. The safe was delivered within one week. Communication regarding delivery was poor though. When I called they said they aren't delivering themselves but it was the manufacturer delivering directly hence they couldn't tell me when.”

“Safe very good quality and it was fast to be delivered. It was due to be delivered on a Wednesday and I had a phone call on the Tuesday from the delivery driver saying I'll be there in about 5 minutes. Luckily I only work 5 minutes away from my house so I popped home. He then rang to say that he didn't want to drive down my lane as it was abit tight, I think he just couldn't be bothered as had other item delivered in a 7.5 ton. I then had to meet him up the road and he help me out it in my car and then that was it. I had to get it in my house my self bare in mind it's 124kg. Safe great, quick and easy purchase but delivery let them down.”

“Hi. Great service, quick delivery and a good product in the Lion Guard 3 gun cabinet so thank you. However, I feel that the fixing bolts provided with the cabinet were really sub-standard. I spent a considerable time trying to make them work but they were next to useless. I went out and bought some Shield Anchor Bolt (Type M12 x 80mm Pack of 5) for £6.50 from Screwfix and they did the trick perfectly. I'd like to constructively suggest that better bolts are sent out with the cabiney in the first place. Just thought you should know! Kind regards, Chris”

“Ordered safe on 21st, arrived 23rd. That's pretty good when you live in north Scotland and habitually add an extra day to quoted delivery times! I'm possibly being a bit mean only giving four stars - if I could I would give four and a half, but there were a couple of minor snags. First, I never got a despatch email, so started getting irritated when nothing seemed to be happening. (OK, says more about me than Winterfield!). Fifteen minutes after I sent a "Where's my package?" it turned up. Couriers responsibility, but affected the experience. Second the expansion bolts supplied were not really suitable, as another reviewer has noted. That reviewer also mentioned a fitting guide. I didn't get one of those, but fitting is pretty obvious anyway. I had guidance on positioning from the FEO. The safe itself is just as described, and a very good price. Recommend Winterfield despite the gripes!”

“Yes... WinterfieldSafes.co.uk ......Where very helpful. Recently been burgled, the were able to get me two upgraded safes quickly, as the ones l already had were low speck. they were not burgled......Knowing that l could break into them without to much effort decided to upgrade them. Should have spent a little more years ago, you'll feel a lot happier when you are away. All those dealings with insurance people. and you can't replace your mothers jewellery ect. South Yorkshire”

“Overall ok. Medium communication in terms of speed. Overall a little cheaper than others online. Delivery info inadequate and inflexible. Would suit someone who has someone always at home to accept delivery as it cant be scheduled in advance”
