“Been looking to buy a diana camera, but unable to find any for sale. I decided to look at the diana mini and yesterday found Wilkinson cameras. Rang Wilkinson cameras to ask some questions about the Diana range of cameras and spoke to polite, friendly. helpful lady. Ordered a camera plus two rolls of lomochrome film and my order turned up today. Absolutely brilliant service and will be using them again. thank you to everyone at Wilkinson cameras. take care and stay safe.”

“First Class Service. Having being let down by another company, I searched the internet for an alternative company that I could order a camera from. I found Wilkinson Cameras. Their site is easy to navigate, and it did not take long to find the deal that I was happy with. Then, I phoned them to make sure that all was in stock. I spoke to a lady by the name of Liz, and not only was she able to confirm the stock but also advised on other options. By the end of the conversation, I was feeling very confident that all was going to be all right. After the phone call, the order was placed online. All of this took place on a Saturday afternoon. A few minutes after placing the order, Liz called back to advise that the order had been received and that all was going to plan. Later I received the conformation email. On the Monday morning, I received another call from Wilkinson because their system had flagged a minor issue. This was quickly resolved, and my order was dispatched later the same day. The order arrived on the next day, Tuesday. Now, this is what I call “Customer Service”. A company that goes the extra mile to make sure all goes well and leaves you feeling very satisfied. From start to finish, this has been a very positive experience, and I highly recommend Wilkinson Cameras, and will be using their service again in the future. Thank you.”

“I had been desparately looking for an EF-EOSR adapter for my new but unusable Canon R5. I searched the net daily or even more frequently for an adapter to use my EF lenses. It seemed nobody had adapters and there were no lenses of any interest available. On one search I saw that Wilkinson were showing the plain EF-EOSR adapter in stock. I telephoned to confirm, the helpful gentleman sounded shocked but checked and advised that I take advantage as they would be gone in half an hour. I ordered and it arrived next morning. It has been in constant use ever since. I shall not forget this pleasant efficiency.”

“I ordered a flashgun from the company and it arrived well packed and in good time. The product was in the clearance section, so I was able to purchase it at a good price. The only issue is that it was advertised as being 'new'. On its arrival, it was found that the stand and the instructions were both missing. Also, batteries were still loaded, which were almost exhausted. I contacted the company and received a reply. Basically, the item can be returned but a stand could not be provided nor the instructions but a link to download them was sent. I will keep the flashgun as it's one that suits my needs but I do feel that checks should have been made prior to dispatch and that I should have been informed. This unit may well have been used as a demonstrator but I was still very surprised not to receive a totally brand new item or at least a true description of it.”

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and such a favourable one given that you have not received our best service. You are absolutely right, this should have been properly checked before the item was dispatched. Please be assured that whenever an item is listed online as a new item, it is because it should be a new item. We do usually list items which have been used for demonstration as "ex-display". Clearly in this case, the item has been listed as new in error or the team have not been made aware that the item had been on display in a store. I'm sorry that this wasn't spotted earlier and certainly before it was sent to you. I'm not sure of the exact reasons behind this item being incorrectly listed or being incomplete, but I suspect you are correct in your assumption that it has been used for display. I will look into how this has happened, so thank you for bringing it to our attention and for your understanding. I really am very sorry if it has caused any inconvenience and I hope that you will understand it is a one-off mistake and it was not our intention to mislead. I have arranged a partial refund which will allow you to buy a stand to make up for the one missing from the box and I have emailed you a link to a suitable option. “Many thanks for dispatching the pair of Hawke Nature Trek Compact 10x25 binoculars so efficiently. They arrived safely and are excellent. I appreciate the speedy attention and response to my order very much. The price was competitive, too, comparing other like models. However, I was unable to locate any document in the package which confirmed the sale of this item, nor could I find an Order Number. This has meant that I am unable to register my purchase with Hawke. I realise I might have overlooked something, but I would also appreciate it if you could send me a copy of the sale document so that I can indeed register the items to take advantage of the warranty offered by the manufacturers. These come from the email stock@wilkinson and we also send order confirmations and dispatch emails via the website. “Ordered items one day, they arrived the next -ahead of predicted time. Can't ask for more than that really. What Wilkinson's say they have in stock, they actually do. Not all the competition does. Recommended.”

“I’ve shopped with you many times in the past. This was my first internet shopping experience very good speedy delivery 20 hrs but you can still talk directly with the staff if you phone. I do like hands on shopping and as soon as COVID is sorted its a new camera. I would like to find one of your shops close to some disabled parking any such place?”

Good morning, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The closest stores to you with disabled parking near to the shop would be Warrington (Golden Square Shopping Centre) or Preston (St. George’s Shopping Centre). Both of these are based within shopping centres with multi-story car parking attached with lots of disabled spaces and, if necessary, wheelchair friendly access throughout the centres. “Excellent service, ordered 2:30pm, and order arrived 8:15AM the next morning. Item was well protected with plenty of bubble wrap and padding. Price was great too-much cheaper than a well known internet giant.”
