“I telephoned WC for advise as I was buying a pair of lightweight binoculars for a friend's 60th birthday. The lady I spoke to wasn't rushed, she asked a few questions and discussed with me the options noting my preferences. Sound advise even regarding not ordering straight away, allowing me time to think. After the call I thought for about 30 seconds and called back, with such good advise how could I order elsewhere. They arrived 2 days later and I've made the right choice with the Zeiss ED binoculars and with the shop. Thank you.”

“Very pleased with the quick delivery of the camera, but less happy that the box had been opened and the plastic bag containing the UK plug was not new (wrinkled and opened) plus the serial number sheet had bent corners. The last Canon I purchased also had protective film on the screen which was missing from this camera (maybe this is no longer the case). Before purchasing the camera I confirmed with Wilkinson’s that it was brand new and UK stock. I am now not so sure ours is. Unfortunately, there is no way on camera to check the shutter count and utilities only report”

Good afteroon, Please be assured that our stock is UK stock and new unless otherwise listed as such (i.e. ex-display or pre-owned). Your camera is definitely brand new stock. However, it may be the case that the box had been opened, for example if we have needed to check something inside the box. There have been cases where despite our stock coming from Canon UK, they haven't included the correct UK plug and we have had to change this. We will investigate whether this was the case with your camera as this would explain the box being opened and the bag for the plug being wrinkled. You should have been notified if the box had been opned for any reason and I can only apologise that you weren't. It is the case that there is no protective film on the screens for most Canon cameras now and boxes are not sealed either. “I'm a returning customer as in the shop the staff always listen and advise accordingly, are helpful without being 'pushy', and unfailingly respectful. It was natural that I'd return online when I was 'in the market' for another SD card. Found exactly what I wanted thanks to easy website navigation, and at an excellent price.
