“I ordered a Sony camera grip online and was pleasantly surprised to see that Wilkinson Cameras had a cash back offer that other retailers did not seem to offer at this time. Later that day, I received a text from DPD informing me that they would deliver the next day. As I had not paid anything for delivery, let alone next day delivery, that was great news. The next day I was expecting to receive a text from DPD by 11am to tell me my delivery slot. It did not arrive. At midday I tracked the parcel and was really disappointed. The parcel had been picked up in Preston and sent to the Birmingham hub of DPD. From there it should have gone overnight to the Irlam depot for delivery to the Manchester area the next day. Instead, it was sent from Birmingham to Dundee !! It then had to be sent back to Birmingham and onward to Irlam at the second attempt. It was delivered in Manchester a day later. I have ordered probably more than 100 items from a rival retailer who uses either Royal Mail or Parcel Force and I have never been let down once regarding delivery.”

“The staff in the Carlisle store are very helpful & knowledgeable. After purchasing a Canon RP that came up with an err 70 fault on the first day (YouTube search saying it was a circuit board fault) & being told in shop that it could be a memory card fault! The manager fully understood my concerns that YouTube was pointing to an internal fault & let me exchange the camera with not even a hint of a quibble. Thanks for an extremely pleasing experience.”

“Very happy with the Customer Service received from Wilkinson Cameras both online and the Liverpool store. I emailed the store to check on stock of a camera I intended on buying on the upcoming weekend as I was travelling from the South to visit family and there was a really good promo on. Their response was super fast and helpful with advice on what to do to get the camera in time as it turned out the promo was ending before the weekend. They communicated to the online sales team to look out for my order and everything went flawlessly. I really can’t thank you enough!”

“Excellent service. I was lucky enough to be given an e-voucher by a friend. I was a little surprised that I could only order the equipment (carbon monopod and head) online. The Wilkinson staff in Liverpool were kind enough to show me the options in their store allowing me to choose the correct models. The order arrived on the morning of the stated day which was good. My only "complaint" was that these small items were packaged inside a huge box.”

Good morning, thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. I'm glad you had a positive experience in-store and online. All the cardboard boxes we use are recycled from our own deliveries to reduce our waste. We'd usually try to get the best size possible to reduce any internal packaging required and minimise inconvenience to customers, but occasionally we just don't have a great range of sizes to choose from - it's the luck of the draw some days.
