Given 2 hour delivery slot and delivery was 15 minutes early so I missed it. Rearranged delivery and again given a 2 hour slot but APC have not delivered! Terrible service. Do not recommend. Will be requesting refund

Monday 4th march. I bought £70 worth of clothes. A thin man with glasses served me, He took the coat hangers off and threw the clothes in a pile on the counter. As I was trying to fold them up, he rushed me on and I had to walk out the shop with the clothes in my arms with no bag he went to throw my recipe away without asking me if I wanted it. He shouldn't be in customer service!!!

Hi Louise, Sorry to hear your order hasn't arrived yet. APC attempted delivery on Thursday 09/11, but there was no one to accept goods and it went back to the delivery depot. You should have received tracking information from APC via email - this may have gone to junk mail. We replied to your email query on Monday 13/11 and provided details of delivery along with how to reschedule (this may also have gone to junk mail). Dear Philip, Apologies that we couldn't help you on this occasion. The delivery company we use regard your postcode as 'Remote Scotland' and therefore add a surcharge onto deliveries. This is outlined in the T&C's on our Delivery/Returns info page on the website. I understand that you may not regard yourself as remote and some other couriers wouldn't either. We have looked into other companies but your order is a good example of why we often can't use them. You ordered two aerosols which are generally classed as prohibited/restricted goods. The Royal Mail/Parcelforce wouldn't allow them for example. We are looking into it, however we have to balance this issue with other aspects of the service we get from our current provider e.g. cost, parcel collection time, customer service. I hope this explains a bit more about our reasoning and why it may not be as simple as it first appears. Sorry once again. Kind Regards James Allen Director

Unfortunatelly i don`t have a good experience with Wigley DIY. My order was not delivered on time using unknown not reliable carrier who give me finally information what proof me that they are not reliable if they have regular issues with staff and not only on my area. Reliable company staff not run away but keep the job. No tracking update as well. I had to ask cancel the order, return to the seller and get refund. All was delayed. Seems the seller is very tight and care only about his money, not of customers and how to please them even something went wrong and also not trust the carrier.

Dear Mary, We have already replied to your email and apologised privately, but once again we are really sorry that your parcel was not delivered on time. It was despatched by our web team on time as promised, but the couriers had a problem which we have explained in our email. It was beyond our control unfortunately. However, I do take exception to your suggestion that we only care about money and that your complaint wasn't dealt with promptly. We have 4.9/5 from over 5000 reviews on this site as we aim to go above and beyond for our customers. We truly care that your parcel wasn't delivered on time. I do accept that we are also a business and our purpose is to generate a profit as well. We also dealt with this issue as soon as it was brought to our attention. You emailed at 3.20pm on Wednesday and we replied within an hour. You replied again after our staff had left for the day and we replied first thing the next morning and processed the refund that you had requested immediately. Not much of a delay in my opinion. In your most email to us you have said that when you have issues with other sellers 'they offer me a delivery amount refund or even full refund.' We do this sometimes too. We didn't on this occasion, not because we are 'tight' as you suggested, but we found your emails to be accusatory and rude. I am once again sorry for the issue with your initial order, but I have no reason to apologise for any other aspect of the service you received. Kind Regards James Allen Director

Having completed my order and looking forward to receiving the goods the following day which was really important as I had hoped to complete a project before the weekend, I was really disappointed to receive an email the following day stating that they couldn't deliver without an extra £10 charge. I can understand extra charges for remote areas/ Islands etc. but we are mainland. I believe the company should question their carriers or be prepared to change the transport options as over £15 as a charge is unacceptable and probably costing them business.

Hopeless. I took the trouble to place an order, it went through the system all ok, then a bit later on I was told they were unable to fulfil the order. Massive waste of my time.

I had to cancel my order due to principal. I live a 30 minute drive from Aberdeen which is the oil capital of Europe yet they wanted to hit me with a surcharge for deliver saying I’m in remote Scottish mainland. Nothing remote here just a way of ripping off some more cash.

Hi Graeme, I am sorry that you feel we let you down on this occasion. I would just like to highlight that it is not us that classes your address as 'Remote Scottish' but the courier service we use. I accept that we could use a service like Royal Mail, but they are more expensive in general and their list of prohibited items is vast and unfortunately includes many of the types of items listed on our website. We are certainly not trying to rip anyone off as we do state that your postcode is classed as this on our Delivery/Returns information page which is available to read before you order. The profit margins for online retailing are generally very small. We try and offer the products at the best prices we can and then add the delivery on top. We believe this to be the most transparent way of doing it. We cannot absorb all the delivery surcharges as we would often then make a loss which defeats the object of selling the item in the first place! I hope this helps explains our reasoning. Don’t go there. I have in the past requested ‘call backs’, none received. I have also e-mailed them and, again not, even the courtesy of a reply. It’s either incompetence or arrogance not to return calls. Says it all really! I will never go in there again as B & Q will have my custom moving forward.

Hi Geoff, Thank you for your honest review. I am disappointed that we have let you down. If possible I would like more details, could you please email me with some more information about the nature of your query and who was supposed to call you back? My email address is james@wigleydiy.co.uk I have searched through all our email accounts and can't find an email from you on any of them going back several years? We have absolutely no reason to not get back to a customer. We are not perfect (only 4.9/5 stars!) but this is certainly not a habitual problem. My guess would be an oversight on the part of a busy member of staff or perhaps a message not being relayed efficiently. We pride ourselves on our customer service and going 'the extra mile' which is why I'd like to hear more if possible. Thanks again, James Allen Director

They never came on the 1st june and I had to changed re delivery today Im expecting delivery today at between 11.53 to 13.53 and still waiting Im very disappointed I need my order urgent thanks I had go to delivery store to complaint bevause I was keeping waiting so they send someone to delivering me today so I got it now

Hi Mandy, Although we have spoken to you directly, I just wanted to apologise again for any inconvenience. According to the parcel tracking, the couriers did attempt your delivery on the 1st of June, however there was nobody there to sign for the goods. Unfortunately there was then the Jubiliee bank holidays and therefore your parcel was delivered on the next available 'working' day which was yesterday. I am glad this has been resolved now. This is not reflective of Wigley as such but of the service you offer via the courier. We are still waiting for this delivery which having paid for next day delivery doesn’t leave me very impressed. The courier failed to deliver on Friday 6th. After chasing this up twice the earliest we could have had this delivered would have been yesterday Friday 13th, one week late, but due to our unavailability we are now expecting this on Tuesday 17th.

Not happy with this product when recived only half full i think i have been had over .

Hi Dennis, Firstly I am sorry you were disappointed with the product you purchased. Secondly, I would like to assure you that you have not been 'had over.' The product is measured by weight and not volume. We have checked the other stock on our shelves and the bottles are all half full but weigh 260g. The advertised product weight is 175g, leaving 85g for the weight of the container. I am not sure whether Vitax do this for a particular reason or just use the same bottles for multiple products and fill to the required amount. Either way, I hope this clears things up. Don’t use apc to deliver because if you work for a living they won’t deliver your parcel to a safe place that is good enough for every other delivery but not apc I even phoned them and asked them to deliver to next door and still they put a card through my door to say they couldn’t deliver. So I still do have my package So I can’t answer any of your questions because they still haven’t delivered it
