“I needed to sort out our garage flat roof. I dealt with the bits in worst condition with Flexacrylic, and then added a coat of Thompsons 10 Roof Seal. The result impressed me, so I decided to plunge in and coat the whole roof. I wanted to use grey, but it was in very short supply. After being let down by one supplier, I found Wigleys, and rang to confirm stock levels. The helpful guys on the on-line phone service offered to place a special order, or to let me know when the next regular order would arrive. I placed an order for 4-litre tins. The delivery arrived next day, but one of the tins was damaged in transit despite careful packing. I sent some photos to Wigleys, who immediately offered apologies and a refund, as they would take up a claim with the courier service. A brilliant response. After dodging with the weather, and using a 4-inch brush plus some seal salvaged from the damaged tin, I got a full first coat done. The photo is singularly uninspiring, but I'm very pleased! The trees on the skyline are Long Itchington Wood, now notorious because HS2 works are crashing right through the local countryside.”
