nothing went wrong, but the absence of any advice from you about estimated delivery date was disconcerting. had i been scammed? nor did i get any communication from the carrier as your order confirmation advised. i now felt i really had been ripped off. then a knock on the door and my pictures had arrived in tact and extremely well packaged. i dont think i have ever had such a poor response from an online supplier apart from Vodaphone. and i am a regular online buyer.

I ordered on Thursday. The date card was posted was the following Monday. I didn’t receive the card until a week later. I had to purchase another card as was too late.

I usually love whistlefish, always visit when we come to cornwall and order online too. However I recently ordering some cards, which took absolutely ages to come. I finally complained and was told they'd been sent second class so that's why they were taking longer. They arrived first class the next day, which makes me feel like something went wrong with the order. I just think this is disappointing given we pay a decent amount for postage on small orders. Also if I hadn't remembered to chase I wouldn't of had the card for the birthday it was for, despite ordering in plenty of time.

Waited 2 weeks for delivery and when I followed it up, I was told that one of the cards was out of stock and they were waiting for me to choose a replacement. Well, as they hadn't told me the cards were out of stock, how am I to know I need to chose another one? They were adamant they had emailed me- I checked the in-box and junk and deleted messages; they hadn't emailed me. Quite frankly, the tone of the communication was that it was my fault. Won't be using them again, which is a shame as I'd always through the cards were of good quality.

A little bit disappointed about the service received. Found a gorgeous acrylic painting of St Ives which we ordered and paid for. After 2 weeks with no correspondence we received a call to say the painting was no longer available and there was no alternative. The sales consultant didn’t even try to recommend another option she just said she’d arrange a refund. Not great service I’m afraid.

No order acknowledgement, and had to chase regarding dispatch. Only once I had contacted Whistlefish wasn’t order sent. I have since placed another order and whilst this time I have an order acknowledgement it’s still not been despatched. When a company is charging £3 postage then I expect it to be sent within 48 hours. Other suppliers who don’t charge for delivery have offered a better service.

I have used your company several times and passed your details onto my friends. This was the first time I contacted you regarding my order. I was very surprised that you still kept the delivery charge even though I explained I had put in the code you sent me. However even more surprised that you did not have the courtesy to respond to my communication. Regards Pauline Eilson

I loved my last years Christmas cards from Whistlefish, which I picked out in the Dartmouth shop, so I decided to see if I could get some more for this year. The examples shown seemed to be like the last years animal cards and others but most of the ones I received are what I would call funny cards which are not really my thing. Always good quality, just not my style in the main. I realise you can’t always get exactly what you want now, so a lesson learned.

The picture was good as expected. The packaging was terribly wasteful. Box many times to big and too many protective air bags - probably more than 100. Such waste

I placed an order on 16th Dec and was pleased with the choice following recommendation. On 27th Dec I received an e mail advising me my order had been dispatched. Yesterday I contacted Whitlefish re when my order was as the status was showing “shipped”. I was informed by a very helpful person , Rosie, that it hadn’t been shipped as there had been items unavailable. Unfortunately one of the cards was needed for a 70th Birthday today which I’m now unlikely to receive until Saturday.

Ordered 4 lots of Xmas cards only one lot arrived and had to wait for another 3 weeks for the rest of my order . They eventually arrived on Dec 18th far too late to send cards overseas so I had to spend more money buying other cards which did not please me and such a shame as whistle fish cards are so pretty . Why was the pre Christmas service so poor ? This experience would not encourage me to place another order - not good enough ! Regards Julie mcilrath

I placed an online order with you on 27/11/17 & had to contact you twice to chase up the order. Your products are excellent and I cannot fault the quality & design but please do not promise something you cannot guarantee. When contacting you a second time about my order I was told there had been a problem with web orders & my order had not yet been processed. Why then the first time I contacted you was I told my order was been processed? Although you had been kind enough to agree to post my cards by 1st Class post, you guaranteed next day delivery which, to be honest, with the inclement weather we have had over the last week, was a little foolish. The cards have just been delivered, a further 24 hours later than promised. It was also suggested that you would include a few extra cards as a gesture of goodwill and although I said it wasn't necessary, you did literally take me at my word! Great products but poor customer service :(

It took 14 days to process the order. Also there were two items out of stock. First email to inform us that something was out of stock referred to an item we had not ordered. There were then a few emails back and forth about out of stock items and then no news for two days. Finally, it took an email from us saying it will soon be too late to post Christmas cards to galvanise some action. Once sent, everything arrived next day and all was in order. Very pleased with the goods. Put the delay down to being exceptionally busy. Previous experiences have been good with this company.

I placed an order in mid November for cards and a print (to allow time to be sent outside UK). Over 3 weeks later I had not received so I queried. After 2 days I was advised it was sent that day. The order will now arrive too late for me to send the ordered Christmas cards around the world, and too late to have the print actually framed as a gift as framed prints are not sent overseas (despite being told they were when I was on holiday in St Ives in June). Had I known I could have purchased then! I'm just wondering if I hadn't followed up the order how long it would have taken to be despatched. A normal turnaround would be 48 hours with any other business! So I'm now waiting on an order which is of no use to me.

I have recently had issues with my address, so I phoned up and asked to change it over. The lady on the phone was very useful, and changed it over to another address and even called me back to say that it was all sorted. However, a few days later a received an email to say that the package had attempted to be delivered and because of the issues it was being returned to sender. Consequently I had to go to the post office myself and arrange for me to go back and pick up the delivery at a later date with all my booking and order forms. When finally getting the package and opening it, the wrong address had be crossed off with the new adfresss underneath. So I don't see why it had then been delivered to the address that had been crossed off? I must admit this is the first time I've had any issues with whistlefish and I will continue to use the website, but maybe a recommendation of something to change.
