Children thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and teachers were really impressed with the children's enthusiasm. Teachers shared that they thought the sessions would be even better if props and costumes were included. Thank you for a great experience!

We were extremely pleased with the Diwali Dance workshop. The entire session was beautifully organised, engaging, and perfectly suited for children. The instructor created a warm atmosphere, and the activities were both creative and culturally enriching. The kids had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and came away excited about what they had learnt. A truly delightful experience!

West End in Schools came to visit and ran a Diwali dance wrokshop and they were fantastic! Chrissie was brilliant, working with all ages from EYFS to Year 6. The children were excited by the dance they learnt and the drama of the different characters. Would highly reccommend.

We had dance workshops for the festival of Diwali, catering for all classes from reception to year 6. Enjoyed by everyone. The facilitator was brilliant at enthusing the children and managed to produce a performance piece for each class in just over half an hour. Greatly enhanced our teaching of RE, and PE. Highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable session with Carl who worked with our EYFS pupils to carry out a Diwali Drama Workshop. Carl pitches these sessions well to capture the enthusiasm of the EYFS pupils and is well resourced to keep the pace of the session flowing. The children and staff really enjoyed it and it really captured their imagination as a starting point to discuss Diwali. It led to lots of follow up impromtu drama sessions back in the classroom which shows how memorable it was. Thank you!

Bethan arrived early and was very personable and kind. She talked us through the day and was extremely organised. The children and teachers were blown away by her enthusiasm, energy, teaching and how fun she made the day - even our reluctant dancers joined in. We cannot wait to book more days through West End in Schools.

The leader was engaging and great. She had great behaviour management to combat disruptive behaviour. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the dance workshop. Although we had technical issues with the files sent prior they already had it on usb ready to play which was fantastic. Feedback from the children: They want a different story as they all know the story of Rama and Sita very well and would love the opportunity to learn a new story. The choreography session was too short and felt rushed so they couldn't dance for longer. Also the learning of the routine needs to be of a slower pace because it was hard to keep up with it at times. Overall they loved it and knew the meaning of all the different parts of the dance.

The workshop was brilliant. The workshop had a great pace which meant the children were continously engaged and excited. The activities used engaged all learners and allowed them to continue building their knowledge on the Ancient Romans. All pupils enjoyed this!

Lee was absolutely fantastic. He is a down to earth teacher who the children immediately warmed to. The sessions were equally fun, thoughtful and inspiring. Many of the children have been asking to do more Shakespeare as a result.

Hannah delivered the Alice in Wonderland workshop to our year 3 and 4 children. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and were able to show what they had learnt at the end of the day. Hannah kept the sessions engaging with the fast pace, easy to learn routines and a great personality. We hope we a re fortunate to work with West End in Schools again in the near future. Thank you for a great day, Hannah!
