“The Diwali workshop led by Hannah was excellent! The children were engaged from the minute they entered the hall, The workshop linked with our RE unit of study and questioning was at the right level for the children and they were able to make links to their learning. All children participated with enthuisiasm and had a good rapport with Hannah. They enjoyed being stretched and challenged with the dance moves! Timing was perfect and they were kept focused and engaged for the whole time. Thank you - excellent!!”

“I would highly recommend West End in Schools to other educational settings or children and young peoples services. The children in our Reception and Nursery classes had a wonderful experience at the Diwali Dance workshop, they engaged throughout the whole session and could not wait to share the dance they had learned with their class teachers and parents via video. We definitely will keep looking on the website to see what workshops we can book in the future to bring more learning to life through dance and drama. Thank you West End in Schools.”

“We felt that the workshop was successful and the children enjoyed their time, however we felt the dances and expectations were more suited to the older children for this workshop (George and the Dragon). Some of our younger children struggled to keep up and to keep their focus.”

“We have had a few of these Diwail Dance sessions now for our Year 1 children. This one was by far the best. The dancing matche dthe story really well and enhanced thier learning so much about Rama and Sita and the Diwail story. The children really got into the characters through dance.”
