“Children loved the session and Pedro was fantastic with the children. Would of been even better if there were props/visuals for children to see/access to further support their understanding.”

“The representative from West End in Schools was a skilled dancer, who was full of energy and enthusiasm. Throughout the day Clara smiled and encouraged our children to really express themselves. Each workshop was broken down into small achievable dance moves, which Clara skillfully managed into a successful mini-dance production. Our only point for future development would be regarding the initial assembly presentation. The assembly lacked sufficient detail regarding Diwali; instead showing a wide variety of dance moves. It was also much shorter (only 15 mins) than we had been told (30 mins).”

“Really fun dances. Pace was a bit brisk so some of my class ,Year 1, couldn't,t keep up. Maybe couple less dances would have made it easier. Thoroughly enjoyed it though! The children in Year 6 loved the different country dances and were extremely engaged by them. excellent guidance given for all to participate.”

“Children and staff across the age group really enjoyed their workshop. Andy was enthusiastic and warm and soon broke down any reserve, so all children were joining in and having fun. A great way to help children appreciate the rhythms of poetry.”

“The lady who came was lovely and really engaged the children in several different activities. The children had a lovely day. However we were expecting more from the sessions. We thought there may had been some visual aids such as displays/posters and props rather than Just a lady with CD player. I think the children would have learnt more from these extras however it was a lovely day.”

“The children loved the experience and really enjoyed being active. The idea of not using voices was great as it meant the children were really listening. The only thing i would say is that the input did not really relate to poetry at all which is what we are learning about this term.”

She had very clear expectations of the children, was very knowledgeable about the play we studied and had good control over the behaviour and activities she provided. “I love the way Jungle Bungle really used the books - it was great to see parts being read aloud, then meet the characters, before you brought out the message clearly. The actors were also very friendly, as well as talented!”
