“Both children and staff enjoyed their workshops. We bought workshops for all classes in our school from reception children to our year 6 children. The only thing I would have changed would have been that each year group was able to look at a different text. We had some year groups that had to do the same text as we were only allowed 3 different workshops per day. Other than this there is nothing else that we would have changed.”

“Thanks for today. Annabel worked her socks off all day and skilfully supported our pupils to re-tell engaging stories through dance. The children were super active throughout because the stories and choreography were pitched and delivered really well. Our children really enjoyed their experience and loved having a real-life performer to work with them. Annabel was also sensitive to the needs of our classes by altering one workshop so's not to spoil the ending of the story some were reading! The workshops were pacey and engaging; a super way to celebrate World Book Day. We would definitely recommend to others. Thank you.”

“A huge thanks to James from West End in Schools! The children had an amazing series of workshops where they were encouraged to be imaginative and creative. James was excellent with the children - allowing enough time for them to experiment but also had enough presence to ensure they followed instructions. He demonstrated patience with all the children but took extra time to work with children whi had particular needs. The feedback from all staff, from Nursery to Year 6, was extremely positive and one of the best visitors we have had in school! Thanks for helping us celebrate World Book Day in style!”

“Amazing workshops for all children. Every year group was catered for and all of the staff and children spoke highly about the sessions. The lady who ran it was very knowledgeable of the books which I chose and differentiated her sessions according to the age group of the children. I would highly recommend these workshops.”

“We have had an amazing day! The lady who delivered the learning engaged the children from the word go. She had the children captivated with her story telling abilities. The sessions were well delivered and were wonderfully pitched to all age groups within our school. The children have gained a thorough understanding of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the experiences given to the children have started our WORLD BOOK WEEK off to an amazing start. Thank You. “We loved our 'Midsummer Night's Dream' workshop day. Tom was a star - really adaptable and made everything work smoothly. He had a great manner with the children and really brought the best out of them. How he managed to pull together such a great performance in just one day is a marvel! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.”

“All children were engaged by Kat and she was great at selecting children to take a leading part. The children all stood up and performed and parents were delighted with the performance. The whole school now knows the plot of A Midsummer Night's Dream which is incredible.”

“It was so inspiring for the children to meet someone who has performed on stage. This workshop also allowed the children to experience classic stories in a totally new, physical way. We were thrilled with the quality of each workshop, differentiated appropriately for each year group and accessible for all. “Simon and Emily came to perform Treasure Hunt today. They were punctual, friendly and had a great rapport with the children. The play was well thought out and fitted brilliantly with our work on the Environment as well as being part of Book Week!
