Very disappointed with the packaging, steak pies were burst and packaging was broken, half the pies were damaged.

Ordered over £100 worth of food to be delivered to England. In particular the individual beef Wellingtons for our Christmas dinner and a large steak pie for New Year's dinner. The Wellingtons were rather disappointing in that they used to be fillet of beef, however these appeared to be scragg ends of beef squashed together into a kind of round ball shape. It could have been any old kind of beef; the flavour of the haggis sauce/gravy was nice and pastry was nice. Definitely did not have the wow factor that they had before. The steak pie looked promising but it was incredibly salty, like someone had spilled a pot of salt on it. Plenty steak and gravy, but really not pleasant because of the salt. The rest of my order were Scotch pies, steak and Haggis pies and beef ham, which so far have all been fine. Will probably not order a delivery again as not as good as it used to be.

Excellent quality ruined by steak pie gravy and sauce containers being damaged in transit. 3 containers leaking gravy all over contents. This is second time it has happened. External box badly damaged as though it had been thrown around like a rugby ball. Labelling STURDIER external packaging as FRAGILE and having more robust containers would help. Regularly have goods sent down from Brownings the Bakers who do so and have had no issues.

I spent £152.20 on various items, four of the pies I had ordered arrived squashed, I took a photo and sent 2 emails neither of which were acknowledged. The Ayrshire middle bacon has so much water in it, it boils rather than fries. The ham ribs were chopped into small pieces rather than left as they come. Very disappointing to say the least

Only given 3 stars because of delivery issue ,should have been delivered on the Wednesday but got a message from couriers saying it was delayed no mention of when it would be delivered,I tried messaging back saying I was away Thursday till Friday so they delivered Thursday left the package outside my front door where it sat till I got home Friday evening so hence a nice warm box of food when I got home.which is not the service I paid for ,still ate the food and I'm still alive so far.but rather dissatisfied with the lack of communication from dad.

A very mixed offering. I was in turn happy, disappointed and unmoved by my parcel of goodies. The smoked ham hocks are superb. Large, flavoursome and as expected. The belly pork is disappointing in that it is not de-boned. The bone adds only weight, so there is less meat than I wanted. The Scotch pies are OK, but a tad dry, lacking in that delicious fatty succulence which I remember so well from my time living in Dumfries.

We tried their breakfast pack of Skinni products. Order dispatched quickly and we had no issues with delivery. It should be noted that online the particular item we ordered was supposed to contain bacon. However the order confirmation via email did not include this. Upon arrival the order was also missing the bacon. We did contact West Coast Foods to ask about this, but did not receive a reply. The food itself was tasty. Would recommend the black pudding! Lovely option for those of us looking to cut out fat and miss the odd sausage sandwich.

The tattie scones are sweet, not at all what I expected. I used to get them in Hamilton when in Scotland and they were great but not West coast

I previously ordered Robertsons bacon which I received and was extremely happy with it no white muck or shrinkage however the second order the bacon was completely the opposite could not be fried as the white muck came out as soon as the fat got hot and the rashers shrunk. Unfortunately although the first order was great the second let me down and I won't be making anymore orders from West Coast Foods. Sorry but this is my honest opinion.

The instructions for your recipe for braised pork chops in cider are inadequate. You just say potatoes, onions but you do not say how to prepare them. Peeled, sliced, whole? We tried this and were very disappointed. Following the recipe to the letter, the potatoes were uncooked after the prescribed time.

I originally placed my order for my uncle in Birmingham only to find out he doesn't eat red meat (ex professional footballer he only eats fish and chicken) He then forwarded the parcel to me in Essex I didn't receive it until today 04/05/21 which unfortunately meant it had gone off Sad to say its now waiting for the bin man on Saturday I would have loved to have eaten the contents but the risk was to much of a too take I

Not bad. Taste could be better. I guess that's the cost of low fat eating, the taste is compromised in a pretty big way.

Would have been 5 stars as all the food was fantastic, however I specifically asked for unsmoked bacon, both in the order and with an email as instructed on the website, but still received smoked. I then emailed again to point this out and no one even bothered to respond. Will be ordering Scottish foods again but will probably try someone where else next

I have made an Xmas order, to be delivered near to Xmas. I was a bit worried to get an email in November saying the order had been processed. I replied asking if this meant the goods (all perishable) had already been made and were now sitting for a month before dispatch! Haven't had a reply. Will continue to follow this up.

Ok, but wouldn't recommend the haggis. It is personal preference, but it contains far too much black pepper for my liking. I like to taste the rest of the ingredients and the hot pepper hit just ruins it. I also prefer the oatmeal to be a bit coarser. There are nicer ones from local butchers back home. Delivery took a while as well. Don't expect an answer to any inquiry that you might have either. Iain.

I love the skinny range its good quality meat and I used to get the 12 pack regularly and I could choose what I wanted in the pack but I was really disappointed because the packs have now changed and I have to order everything separately as there are some things in the new packs that I wouldn't usually buy so it works out more expensive for me and I now get half what I used to get for the same money

Ordered Capon, pigs in blankets and Sage and onion stuffing. Received sausagemeat instead of sage and onion. Emailed and was told I would receive refund for the stuffing. Still waiting for refund. Review would have been ‘poor’ but saved by quality of Capon and pigs in blankets. Other niggles...no weight indicated on Capon. Sold as 4kg but when weighed was only 3.75 kg. Also no cooking guidelines which would have been useful.
