A very mixed offering. I was in turn happy, disappointed and unmoved by my parcel of goodies. The smoked ham hocks are superb. Large, flavoursome and as expected.
The belly pork is disappointing in that it is not de-boned. The bone adds only weight, so there is less meat than I wanted.
The Scotch pies are OK, but a tad dry, lacking in that delicious fatty succulence which I remember so well from my time living in Dumfries.
