“I bought the Skinni Range Fantastic Free Delivery pack. One pack of Skinni Chicken Fillets arrived grey in colour so I phoned Customer Services straight away. The man I spoke to was lovely and very helpful who advised that this may be due to the heat sealer at time of packaging. I was told to dispose of the chicken to err on the side of caution and was refunded in full for this. Included in the pack was three Skinni curries, two of which were sadly past their best two days before the 'Use By' date and had to be binned. However, the one we did try was really good. It's not the first time I have bought from West Coast Foods and it won't be last, however from my most recent experience I personally wouldn't buy the chicken again.”

“Ordering was easy however; I didn't get the free delivery promised on the email I responded to. Also the best before or use by date was for 7 days after delivery date. This is a little disappointing as any time I've purchased some of the range through Aldi Stores there's been more than 7 days use by on the packaging.”

“Excellent quality of square slice however my order included haggis stuffed chicken breasts. Had to freeze them immediately on arrival as they were dispatched on a Tuesday but didn't arrive with me until the Thursday. May need to look for better delivery company.”

“Skinny Sausages terrific! Skinny black pudding nice, Skinny haggis - not to my taste. Chicken was flattened in transit and green when I went to cook it the day before use by date. I had to throw out. Despite this I would buy again”

“The delivery of my order was prompt and efficient, unfortunately, the quality of the Venison Loin was not as good as I had hoped. The fillet was bought to complement other fillets bought locally for a Venison Wellington, and there was a noticeable difference in the quality between the locally purchased fillets and the West Coast Foods fillet.”

“Excellent delivery & packaging. Items ordered all good inc square sausages & chilli burgers etc. Only 2 disappointments, the Skinni black pudding was tasteless and Skinni meat balls are very high in slimming world syns - 7.1/2 syns for 3 only. Would still buy from this butchers but only certain items in the Skinni Range.”

“Would really like to give a good review but parcel arrived "wet", probably due to Carrier rather than West Coast Foods. I felt that what I received was not good value for money. In particular, the Skinni link sausages were tasteless.”

“The first order I made was ment to come on the Friday but didn't arrive till the Monday therefore it had to go to the bin . Re ordered for today 25th and received it today . Your food stuff is really good but the customer service of the ups delivery company is absolutely hopeless”

“I ordered sausage slice, steak pie & pork sausage. I thought that the sausage slice was good - although my husband, who is from Glasgow, felt that it wasn't spicy enough. The steak in the pie was lovely and tender, but a little salty for me. The pork sausage was rather disappointing, I expected something a bit more flavoursome. The package arrived on time, the courier did not ring the door bell & left it on the doorstep, which was bad enough, but it was left on its side, which meant that the gravy from the pie started to seep out!”

“I love the products but I order on line and my latest order was put in on the 15th of Oct for delivery on the 16th. When my order arrived I had sausages dated 14th to be consumed by the 18th. I appreciate I can freeze my order but I bought a 10 pack of slice intending to use 2 a day for the next 5 days. as it is they expire 2 days after i received them.”

Hi May, Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated as it helps us improve our business. When buying the 10 pack slice unlike the 2 pack and 4 pack this is not gas flushed and therefore the shelf life is reduced. We do state on our website that you will get a minimum or 3 days shelf life on delivery, so if it arrived on the 16th and is to be used on the 18th, then that is 3 days. I hope this clears your issue up, Alternatively if you dont want to freeze then if you buy the 4 packs then these have a min shelf life of 5 days on delivery as they are gas flushed.
