The drastic decrease in the quote amount citing minor defects and scratches, isn't the best way to do business.

Was given a higher price £10.800 then told it was wrong to be given a price of £9000 even your operator got a price of £10 800 and settled for £8555 because we were committed on another vehicle very poor by yourselves feel

As I had my car valued by yourself on Sunday 24/07/2022 and went back on 28/07/2022 you had lowered the valuation by £500

They track various factors such as demand, availability of a particular model and current sale prices we are experiencing for such vehicles. Easy process but the final price bears no resemblance to the online quote Beware!

Our online valuations are calculated using only the information that our customers provide, therefore if no scuffs, chips, scratches or dents are declared at this point, the valuation provided will be reflective of this. Whilst we accept that the majority of used cars will have experienced a certain amount of wear and tear, we make no assumptions about the extent of this as it can vary greatly from vehicle to vehicle and we instead rely on our customers to describe the vehicles they have in their possession. The transaction fee contributes towards the transportation and administration costs incurred when purchasing the vehicle. There are numerous checks and processes that we must adhere to after the purchase of a vehicle to ensure we are compliant with both industry and our own compliance requirements. It’s a bit of a rip off cause they end up giving you less then 50% of the online quote / offer. I guess if you don’t want the hassle of selling privately, then you have no option, but I was disappointed.

Frustrating that a large amount of money was deducted for very minor things and for no service history despite this being available online. The same happened to my partner which is a poor tactic for luring customers in.

Took a 2013 1 series BMW in, with very little wrong, but they still managed to reduce the quote by £860, seems that the quote is just to get you there.

The reason for the bad review is because I was told on Friday I’d get £36,000 then it went down by £700 in two days I couldn’t sell on the day I went and was told to come back very very disappointed that when I did go back in went down by so much.

Lovely service from a very nice man but sadly it is shocking just how far below quoted price they knock you down. It isn't the man who does the sales fault he is lovely but my final price was £400 below quoted price

In my opinion the initial price offered is inflated so that you make an appointment, my valuation on her 18 month old car reduced significantly upon arrival the following day, that’s before further reductions for very insignificant cosmetic defects. The assessor told us that he had to find a minimum of five stone chips, this was a real struggle! The service wasn’t very polished frankly.

The guy was pleasant and nice enough, however.. webuyanycar are generally a disgrace as a company. Unless your car is MINT and in showroom condition forget about getting what they quote! My car was only four years old and in amazing condition, obviously as it was four years old there are going to be very NORMAL signs that it’s not brand spanking new, my value was £8765 , already reduced as I amended the condition to say it had only part service history, that whacked off £200. On viewing they dropped it to £8075 saying it had scratches and chips in the paint, it was NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR teeny tiny dots made from DRIVING THE CAR for four years, durrrr. I said no chance then he said ok, I will give you back 25%. Ridiculous and very unfair practices.

Was quote almost 4 times what I received, even during the phone call prior to selling there was no mention that I was not going to get what I was quoted, very misleading
