“Hastings Branch. At the start of lockdown I was desperate to get a tyre fitted to my motorbike that i had already purchased. I am a Firefighter and need to be able to get to work. When "Toady" discovered I was a key worker he fitted it for free but asked i donate the money to charity. Knowing that our local hospital theatre and critical care nursing staff do not get tea and coffee provided, i used the money to buy supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, cakes etc to help these absolute legends get through their days and nights. Not a charity i know but a practical and very much appreciated way to pay it forward.”

Not only was my puncture repaired but I now have a guarantee for that repair and was entertained by a string of jokes from the gentleman who served me. He is quite a character. “I've used Watling Tyres in Rainham, Kent for years. These guys are very polite and welcoming. Nothings too much trouble. I thought I needed both front tyres replacing due to wear on the insides but I was assured only one was illegal. They even kept the price the same as I'd paid them in 2018. They've asked me to come back so they can check the alignment/bushes/tracking etc. to check for problems due to my continuing inside wear I get every tyre change at the front. Great customer service.”
