“I had my cataract operation in March at vision scotland .. I was recommended by my optician at Browns in Edinburgh … I have now toric lenses to correct my astigmatism and the correct prescription to correct my eyes .. I am delighted with the result I didn’t feel anything during my operation .. my surgeon Mark was excellent very professional.. it was a very good follow up procedure too .. Totally recommend this to everyone who needs eye surgery.. many thanks 🙏”

“From my initial examination, through the day of the operation and in the follow up I was very pleased and impressed with the professionalism, interpersonal skills and level of support given by Vision Scotland. I have had an excellent outcome from a double eye procedure carried out on the same day. The lenses selected for me are exactly what I needed to improve my sight and through that my daily activities.”

“I was very satisfied with everything to do with my cataracts operation, and delighted with the result of the surgery. Everything was properly explained, the staff were all pleasant and efficient, and on the day of the surgery - for both eyes - I was in and out of the hospital in just over two hours.”

“Excellent service standards experienced, from assessment day through to the surgery performed by Jonathon Ross who was exemplary, other mentions for Neil who made everything about the process very clear and Marie who was just first class pre and post the operation, overall a premium treatment experience, finally to be able to perform night time driving without glasses for the first time ever, is an amazing feeling, thank you everyone.”

“After years of living with ptosis which was getting worse and having significant impact on my ability to see out of one eye I met with Jonathan Ross. From the initial consultation I knew I was in good hands. My surgery went smoothly and the results are amazing. My ptosis has been corrected, and my confidence increased. I can’t recommend this surgery, of Mr Ross enough. The aftercare was great. I wish I had met him sooner.”

“I went this week for my second cataract procedure under the brilliant Dr. Jonathan Ross. The clinic staff were brilliant especially Claire Hush who advised and guided me before my first eye procedure..,I was nervous as I also have AMD which I thought would stop me getting the procedure, I got a consultation and was delighted to be told I could get my cataracts removed and new lens fitted. I would definitely recommend Vision Scotland and all the team especially DR. Ross…a professional eye clinic that cares… Thank You All Frank”

“Initial appointment efficient and informative. Helpful correspondence prior to the appointment. All staff pleasant making the journey less stressful. Comfortable waiting rooms at Vision Scotland Appointments ran on time Process explained effectively. Day of surgery went very smoothly. Regular reassurances by staff including my wife being kept up to date with progress. Left premises well informed re home management and possible complications to be aware of. Post operation contact appropriate and appreciated. Had review appointment where further reassured re positive progress. Delighted with outcome. Excellent binocular vision and no spectacles required. My Optician fully informed. Seamless and very effective journey. Many thanks”

“Had both cataracts done on the 3rd of April, on arrival was made very welcome. The procedure took just over 20 minutes, felt quite a ease and no pain. No after effects and eye sight improving on a daily basis. Now back driving. Overall very happy with the service Vision Scotland provided”

“I have found my whole Vision Scotland experience to be excellent. My cataract procedures, carried out by Mr Mantry, have given me perfect results for distance and vision, as requested. The high standard of customer care, the thorough information provided at every stage and attention to detail by all the clinical staff was very reassuring and engendered a feeling of confidence throughout. “So professional from start to finish. From first consultation to post operative follow up the service was excellent. My surgeon Jonathon Ross was professional, reassuring and I felt I was in good hands. All the staff were so genuinely kind and empathetic.
