“I have been very short sighted since a young age and having developed cataracts I was struggling with my varifocals. Due to the long waiting time for NHS surgery I decided to be treated by Vision Scotland. and this was done within 6 weeks (could have been 4 but I was unable to attend on the proposed date). I had bilateral surgery carried out by Mr Ross in Aberdeen. I would describe the result as life changing. Having just had my 6 week check up at my optician I have been told I don't need glasses. Can't thank Mr Ross and his whole team enough. Definitely would recommend Vision Scotland,”

“I cannot praise Vision Scotland (Edinburgh) highly enough. The time from referral to bilateral cataract surgery was very short - just over two weeks. Mr Mantry and his team were very supportive and made the whole process easy and stress free. Thank you!”

“The whole experience was fantastic. I found the staff to be very caring and considerate. The whole experience was excellent and thanks to the staff and the surgeon my sight is better than I could ever have hoped. As to price? What price can you put on your sight? I would thoroughly recommend Vision Scotland Ratho to anyone with sight problems. Thank you very much.”

“My experience with vision scotland was seemless from start to finish.I had bilateral cataract surgery and fitted with trifocal lens Having been very short sighted for many many years and relied on contact lens and glasses every day,i am now free of contacts and specs and can see perfectly without aid,it is life changing. The team in aberdeen were outstanding,from when i first contacted vision scotland,Roslyn guided me through the whole process,putting off a lot of time and explaining everything clearly,a mention also for Jane the nurse in aberdeen who was fantastic and of course the surgeon Johathan Ross who carried out the operation,he is a highly skilled and professional person. I would recommend vision scotland to anyone For me it has been life changing and good value for money.”

“From start to finish I was treated with total Profesional care and everyone was so nice and caring,The treatment was smooth and explained at every stage and I had both eye's cateract removed and the appropiate vision lenses fitted, it was painless and quick and all as prexplained. Next day after protected sheilds were removed I was astounded at the brilliant colours and the my vision which was improving by the hour to better than the glasses i had worn for 54 year's which were always updated anually if required by my local Optician I 100% recommend Vision Scotland Edinburgh”

“Terrific, from consultation, through procedure to follow up. No question was too stupid and the process was faultless. 100% professional, courteous not to mention a great outcome. It’s not inexpensive but it’s great value for money. I have recommended it to friends already and will continue to do so.”

“From the moment this basket case (me) arrived like a scared little kitten I was treated so compassionately which was even though I was very emotional was exactly what I needed. They talk you through what they are doing and why so none of it is a surprise. I wasn’t the easiest of patients but the way in which they got round my phobia of eyeball touching was nothing short of exceptional. Thank you so much to every one of the team from Surgeon to The person who helped me r-book my Uber home (I was so early finished) I cannot thank you enough. On Friday morning y distance vision was nothing short of transformed.”

“My experience at Vision Scotland Edinburgh was excellent from start to finish. The surgeon, Mr Burgess replaced my two cataracts with corrective lenses. I am now able to see brilliantly without spectacles or contact lenses which I haven’t been able to able to do since I was 10 years old - many years ago! Grateful thanks to Mr Burgess and all the team.”

“Eternally grateful to Vision Scotland. (10 out of 10) Very professional from the initial consultation right through to the procedure itself. So impressive how the team builds a comprehensive picture of the current status of your eyes using state of art equipment with everything being explained along the way. I had one cataract removed and cannot remember the last time that everything was so bright, detailed and clear. The actual surgery was totally painless and surprisingly quick. My surgeon was Dr Sohista Saidkasimova, big thank you. In fact thanks to all the team, it does takes a team. Now just have to have my other cataract done next year. No hesitation in recommending Vision Scotland for cataract surgery.”

“Absolutely delighted with my bilateral cataract surgery at Vision Scotland Edinburgh. My initial in depth consultation was very helpful and answered all my questions. Surgery was booked for a few weeks later when I was warmly welcomed into the serene and comfortable waiting area. All the staff members I met were so friendly, kind and caring. A special thank you to the amazing Dr Shohista Saidkasimova who was so calm and gentle performing my totally pain free procedure. Afterwards, whilst enjoying a welcome coffee and toasted tea cake, a nurse kindly talked me through aftercare instructions of do’s and dont’s and provided me with a leaflet to read at home. The following day, I could not believe how bright, clear and colourful my surroundings were and was thrilled to discover I could read even the tiniest print without the use of glasses. Thank you all so much, I have no hesitation in recommending the excellent Vision Scotland. This experience was worth every penny!”
