“I declined a very low offer of £54.00. The box contained a gold, diamond and sapphire ring and solid silver items that were described as silver plated on the call. I received confirmation that my box would be returned. My belongings haven't been returned and £54.00 was deposited in my account despite me confirming by email that I had declined the offer. My calls aren't returned. I'm being passed from person to person by email and telephone. Very upset and now very suspicious of the legitimacy and integrity of this organisation.”

Our offers are based on the second-hand market value of the items we receive. I can see you have used our service on numerous occasions previously and sold many boxes to us but we apologise that we didn't meet your expectation on this occasion. I can see that on our offer call, you initially accepted your offer; following this your items were taken off the shelf and payment processed. Whilst you did call back in to try to reverse this, we were unable to do so due to the box already being in our system. Our terms and conditions document that when you accept an offer, it is binding. For this reason, we always offer our customers 14 days to think about their offer and come back to us. I hope this goes some way to explaining our actions. “Really easy process. Had lovely call to explain what can and can't be accepted and timescales. Informed when parcel arrived, called next day with detailed breakdown of box contents and made offer, which was very pleasing. Accepted on spot and funds in my account within 2 days. Everything I sent was either going to be thrown away or just festering in a drawer so it was always going to be a win for me. I expect company to be making money too but I was delighted with my return and how easy and quick it was. No brained for me.”
