I'm getting very anxious it's been 8 days today I don't know I still haven't had an offer I didn't getting very worried cause it was a large collection of jewelry

The box arrived promptly and had easy to follow instructions. I received several emails asking if I had considered posting the filled box yet After I confirmed I had sent the box, they said it hadn't arrived in their system . Luckily I have proof of postage and a list of all items sent Waiting to hear from them. I hope this isn't a scam.

Upon reviewing your emails with our team, I can see that your box arrived to us without a customer ID sticker attached. Without this sticker, we cannot tell who the box belongs to, in order to scan it into your account. We appreciate that you got in touch to let us know that you had not received confirmation of us receiving your box. The postage receipt was incredibly helpful in identifying which unnamed box belonged to you, by matching the tracking number. This was passed on to our Logistics team, that the box belonged to you, so they could assign it to you in the system. This was done this morning, so your box could move on to the appraisals department. We advise 3-5 working days for the appraisal to be complete, but please do feel welcome to get in touch in the meantime if you have any other concerns or questions, and we will be happy to help. The first time I used VCC I had an decent offer just over £70 for what I thought wasn't old junk. Cameras etc. and the staff has always been very helpful. Since then I've sent another 3 maybe 4 boxes with a lot more vintage items weighing 20kg plus including Jewelry, old coins, a few small silver hallmark items, cameras etc and it's the same offer every time, £20. Disappointed to be honest but I needed to declutter so I didn't take it back and nothing was sentimental. I understand it's a business, employees, overheads have to be paid and item prices change regularly, and let's be honest, postage isn't free we still pay for it in the end. Maybe its part of the offer process i don't know. I see alot of people here aren't happy and opting for their items back so who pays for that postage? If you want more for your items then use other means because this company won't give a fair price all the time simply because they can't. I doubt I'll use them again unfortunately.

Firstly I am pleased how you were happy with the offer amount for the first box of items you sent to us, which I can see contained gold and a large amount of silver, which would reflect in the offer received, I am delighted that you find the staff to be helpful too. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed in the offer of your other boxes you have sent to us, having looked on your account I can see that most of your other boxes contained mixed metals which would limit the offer amount. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any items that had a rarity or collectibility factor which does limit how much they can generate on the second-hand market. For any offers that aren't accepted, we do offer a free returns service of your parcel, So we would cover the cost of that. I am sorry to hear though that you accepted your offer that you weren't completely happy with. We do thank you for giving our service a try anyway. Had a few issues when I sent my parcel but eventually this got sorted I was disappointed in the value but honestly didn’t want the same hassles of having it sent back sadly I won’t be using them again

I am sorry to hear that we haven't received your items, Sometimes when items are received without a sender ID label on they can arrive in our 'quarantine' area. I am saddened to hear that the post office didn't you give a receipt for sending your items, but if you can send us an email to hello@vintagecashcow.co.uk, with a full description of your items, and the box they were sent in, we can certainly look into this for you and try and rectify this. I can confirm we are genuine and not a con, and most of the time the items sent to us end up scanned correctly into customers account, and on the occasion where they are in our 'quarantine' area, these are regularly located and successfully scanned into the customers account. I was surprised how little I received, particularly as there was such a large amount of silverware in the box

Our experienced appraisers carefully value the items we receive based on their current market value. As for the reasoning for the offer being lower than expected, I can see that whilst we did find a small amount of silver, the majority was silver plate which contains 2-5% silver content. Therefore it is a low-value metal and does not tend to generate a huge amount. We appreciate that we won't always meet customer expectations with the offer we make, which is why we have a free returns policy. I am sorry to see that you accepted an offer that you weren't entirely happy with as we would always prefer to return your items to you for free. A great way of getting rid of unwanted items quickly and simply, however like every thing quick and simple these days be prepared to be given low offers for items that will sell for 50% more if you have the time to sell individually.

The whole procedure of booking in & selling items to VCC was very simple & well organised. But the offer I received was ridiculously low. I would have had the items back if I hadn't been desperate for space. But it is highly unlikely I will sell to them again or recommend them to friends. The price given wasnt a fair one.

I’ve sent two boxes to you, I had a call from one of your guys to give me the price value of one box, but they said they hadn’t gone through the 2nd box, it’s been a few now, not heard any more from you, so please could you let me know value of second box please thank you x carol maskell

Vintage cash cow service was superb.... Did as they said making it really easy. The only downside was the disappointing realisation of my goods thought they would have raised more.

The offer that was made was ok, but the lady talking me through my goods came across as giving me reasons for a low offer. I was expecting more but took the offer. I would think twice before using cash/cow again.

I was a bit disappointed in the offer I had for my first box. I thought they said £67 on the phone which I accepted. When the cheque came it was only £57. Having said this it was all things that I had been hoarding for many years, so I wouldn’t want them back.

Good communication and the whole process is great. Thought I would give them a go and sent a box of items which I knew didn’t have much value. They rang me with an offer. £10.64 which I accepted. But the cheque came rounded down to £10. It’s not the pennies that I’m bothered about, more principle. You can’t other one amount then send another amount! Wouldn’t use again for this reason
