Good service from VHL. Had one of their boilers since 2009, get a yearly service through Homeserve insurance - which is expensive when you don't need it.
Problem this weekend, noticed it Friday morning, no heating, hot water. Called them five o'clock Friday eve, engineer booked for Saturday. Called me at 08:45 to say he'd be with me between 11am/2pm. Showed up at 12:15, worked on the boiler, diagnosed the fault, gave good advice, was clean, polite and professional.
First time this boiler has given me any cause for thought, so no complaints from me.
