“VideoScribe offers so much but delivers little. The end result is great , but the user experience is poor (they could learn a lot from Prezi). One of the most infuriating things is it is constantly non-responsive; everything freezes and you often have to wait minutes before being able to do anything. This dramatically increases the time it takes to produce a video. So, I'll continue to use it - it wasn't cheap - but I won't enjoy it.”

Hi Jim, thanks for the review and I'm sorry that you feel this way about the product. Apologies that the software freezes and is non-responsive as this is something we wouldn't ever want to happen. “Very good software! we now start all our presentations with a short video! As we are working it China we would be very happy if you could add Chinese characters.”

“Very easy to learn and use but have to see the video tutorials (easy to follow) and read blogs from time to time. The visuals are good and the end product is quite useful. It is very bad though, that the library of images is very limited after upgrading to the full version. Each additional image that you purchase is not cheap considering you have to pay every time you need a new image.”

“Easy to use and the end product looks great. A lovely way to get a short message across. Text and graphics can be incorporated and manipulated with ease. A little disappointed to see so many of the images are charged for...and not cheap either. Overall a package that gives you maximum output for minimum input.. You can make a few simple sentences look really special with very little experience of using graphics”

“VideoScribe is the coolest tool I've discovered in a year. It is an excellent example of taming technology by providing an easy to learn/use interface, and enabling professional-level capability where there is no previous experience. The only concept I struggled with initially was that I did not grasp the simplicity of placing objects on a wide open canvass and using camera angles to frame the flow. In two days, I created a prototype marketing "nudge" on an emerging offering from my company, and everyone who has seen it has said "wow"! “To have not used the tool much yet, but the response time of your support team is horrible. I've had to wait 5 days for responses to my questions. Considering that I have a paid subscription I find this unacceptable”
