“This is a very professional organisation, that supports applicants throughout the process. They kept me informed, didn’t vanish at any point, and explained the process very clearly. I liked the way they checked that all my tech was working correctly before the interview. References were speedily obtained & I was given progress reports which was reassuring. Special shout outs to Lucy and Hannah who were brilliant!”

“I have to say that after being on the rails for 4 years now, there aren't many as helpful, kind and proactive as Venn Group. Particularly Alex, Dan and his team really go above and beyond for us and will be realistic with the needs of contractors and Venn Group requirements for every job. Always a pleasure dealing with VennGroup and would recommend them to anyone fresh to the rail or even seasoned. All would be well taken care of.”

“Since I worked with one agent specifically, my review can only really explain my experience with the recruitment agent I was liaising with, whom I will say is absolutely excellent! He gave me detailed explanations of the client, project and of each step involved in the process for receiving an offer, for the role I was put forward for. I had been approached by another agency prior to Venn Group, for the same role, which I communicated to the agent I was liaising with — and that I hadn't heard anything back since they first told me they were putting my CV forward for the role — only they never did put me forward for the role. He explained to me that other, less scrupulous recruiters often approach candidates for roles they are not actually contracted to recruit for, simply to try and either get an in, or to stop other agencies from putting them forward for a role, by tying you to them, with a right to represent. He told me my CV had most likely not even being put forward and checked with the client to make sure this was the case, after which my CV was actually put forward and after successfully going through each stage of the selection process I received my offer. Throughout the whole process, he kept in regular contact with me, keeping me up to date with the current situation. Letting me know if there were any delays, checking in with the client and myself, when there were, due to the summer holidays, so that I never felt uncertain of where I currently stood. He met up with me before my face to face interview and walked me to the client's building, to ensure there were no issues with me getting there. He was very open and honest with everything, and made the whole experience less stressful as a result. If other recruiters at Venn Group are as good as he is, then I certainly recommend Venn Group to other clients/candidates looking for a good recruitment agency!”

“My recruiter was James Ford and he has been tremendously helpful and supportive of me throughout the entire recruitment process. Especially as a recent university graduate trying to understand the job market, Jame's advice and support has been invaluable in helping me kickstart my career. He genuinely appeared to love helping me rather than just doing so out of obligation for his job. James offered to give me a pre-interview prep to help me prepare for the actual interview by giving me lots of advice and encouragement to excel in my interview. For example, using the STAR technique when answering interview questions which I implemented in the actual interview to help me secure the job. The support I received changed my entire perspective of recruitment agencies. I never felt supported or connected to an agency before because contact often ceased after employment. However, James stayed in contact and even helped me prepare for future career opportunities by helping me set up my Linkedin profile and rewriting my CV to teach me how I can stand out better to employers. He has been a great representative and I would love to stay in contact with both Venn Group and James for my future career because of the value and support they have provided me in my early career.”

“As a candidate, I have been very pleased with the service provided by Venn Group and a number of its consultants over a few years. I have only recently worked directly through Venn though for a role in the NHS. On this occasion, my consultant has been Pete Roberts. Pete has been an excellent Account Manager throughout this temporary assignment, always responding promptly, providing accurate information, doing what he said he would do and making every effort to assist when required. I have extensive experience of working with recruitment consultancies and was for many years a Director of such an organisation. Pete is one of the best consultants that I have worked with.
