“Excellent service from UK Sign Shop. The ordering process was straightforward, the signs arrived quickly, and the quality exceeded my expectations. The printing was sharp, the materials felt durable, and everything was exactly as described. Great communication throughout and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend UK Sign Shop and will be happy to use them again in the future. A word of warning though, don’t use a power screwdriver to fix the screws to the wall, I used one and over tightened it, the ceramic broke, it was entirely my fault, and had to replace it it.”

“There are several specks of white paint on the new slate sign, which is really disappointing. It seems like the quality control failed on this occasion. The sign looks smart, but I just would have preferred it to look perfect, and not have these defects”

“Overall slate sign very good. House number next to name, the name could be a little larger if it consists of one word only. This facility not available. My initial order contained the house name in lower case, entirely my mistake. When I phoned to correct this error within an hour of placing order I was told that the whole process was ‘automated’ and that it might not be possible to change the name to capitals!! In the end it was corrected, but I had to wait to open the package to find out!”

Thank you for your review and for your order James We're pleased to hear that you were happy with the overall quality of your slate sign. To clarify, our website includes a live preview function that shows exactly how your sign will appear before you place your order. We also advise customers to carefully check all wording, capitalisation, spacing and layout during the ordering process, as signs are produced directly from the approved preview. As our production process is highly automated, orders cannot normally be amended once they have been placed. When you contacted us regarding the capitalisation of your house name, we explained that while we could update the information on our system, we could not guarantee that the production team had not already downloaded the original artwork for manufacture. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we agreed to try and make the amendment for you. We're pleased that the correction was successfully made and that your sign arrived as expected.
