pat testing - great but no full report issued of items tested Had to request it again this year - still not received!

Extra work was carried out without my authorisation but UKSM were professional about this and did no charge me. Would have been an Excellent raiting otherwise.

Thank you for your feedback. A letter is sent out to all our customers before we attend your premises to carry out the testing. This letter outlines the work the engineer will carry out on the day and also the charges. In this case the letter must not have been received.I am glad it was rectified immediately for you. The engineer who carried out the service was excellent, however the administration department were very abrupt and not particularly informative. One day after the testing was completed I received a phone call asking for my card details so they could settle the account. At this point I had not seen an invoice and had no indication of other payment options. I asked whether it would be possible to receive an invoice before I made a payment and I was told "Fine, I'll email you an invoice now. Goodbye" then she ended the call.

I am very sorry that you had not received your invoice when you were contacted by our administration department as it is company procedure to supply this to the customer as soon as the work is carried out. Our main aim is to provide our customers with their certificate as soon as possible which is why you were contacted for payment so promptly. The original visit was aborted due to the engineer arriving at 2pm - the visit was requested for 8am due to us needing tools tested and teams out on site for the day working - office had not passed on this time slot request - second visit re-arranged and all went according to plan.
