No cancellation charge should be allowed for at least 48 hours after booking

Room fine. Booked an evening meal. On arrival told there was a large group in, would I mind eating after 8pm. When i went to the bar later I was told it would now be 8.30pm. At 8.20 I went to the bar and was told it would be after 9pm. Clearly very unhappy. I can see no reason why I would ever want to use Travelodge again!

Just try getting a straightforward telephone number or email address for Travelodge - it's impossible. Why can they not simply put under " contact us' a phone or email address. I gave up in the end but found a postal address so used that. So far no response but it probably hasn't arrived!

Above a train line, the room felt although it wasn't clear to see on common table tops. I think the mattresses and rooms need a super vac to clean the dust out. Staff were very nice and courteous. Staff 10/10. Room 5/10 I assumed the price tag would reflect quality it only reflects location. If I chose a hotel from the same branch 10 minutes up the road it would be cheaper and better quality.

Cost is terrible for standard of rooms Non smoking rooms yet stank of smoke . Problem with booking room initially TV screen cracked so couldn’t watch Only positive was a very helpful and friendly receptionist- Karen. Wouldn’t stay here again

I think Travelidge is fine and I have no complaints about the standard of the accommodation... but I've been getting really upset about the lack of customer service I've experienced for almost a year now. I keep calling the Hotel I was booked with and they keep promising me a voucher for a future stay due to the exceptional circumstances which meant I couldn't use the booking that I had just made on the evening when The Queen unfortunately died later that evening. I had made the booking to stay at TV Droitwich on Friday 9th September, just the night before, because we were travelling to Cardiff, from Hull in Yorkshire, for a football match on Saturday 10th Sept. Unfortunately. Because of the death of the Queen on the actual night that I had just made the booking... all events were cancelled as a mark of respect. I called the hotel to let them know that obviously we wouldn't be coming and asked if they could refund the booking. I was told that it couldn't be refunded but, in respect to the death of the Queen and in these exceptional circumstances, Travelodge would provide me with a goodwill voucher to use on a future stay at any of your hotels. I was happy with that gesture but since then I have received nothing... despite calling on numerous occasions over the past 10 months and being promised that something would soon arrive. It never has... and the calls I've made have actually been charged to me which now total over £35 on top of the original £61 room rate I sadly paid in advance. Why has no customer service department been in touch with me to resolve this issue? I have found this lack of care and concern from Travelodge to be very disappointing, despite being promised every time I called that someone would be in touch. I have just recently made a booking for another stay at one of your hotels, which has just cost me £124 and it would have been nice to be able to use the voucher that I have constantly been promised. Can someone help me please? My booking Ref was 1552037736. (Mr. Taylor, Hull.) You can either post a voucher to me or e-mail me on nicktaylor1904@gmail.com... but I just want someone to help me and show some genuine customer care. It would be much appreciated. Thank you.

It totally me over an hour to eventually make my booking. It would not advance onto the ‘payment’ page after numerous attempts. When I eventually got through my discount for DDS was not shown

Breakfast is realy disappointing, no mention of a survival box you get that you need to eat at the reception.

Mould in bathroom ceiling and odour Advertised in free wifi, had to pay No phone in room to reach reception. Had to keep going downstairs with requests

3 nights for over £300.in Chippebham, without Internet or Breakfast is a ridiculous price. Very disappointing.

The 22 mile detour should have been pointed out at the start not the end after the booking had been made. The name should be altered to prevent confussion with a near by travel lodge

My room had two single beds pushed together, both of the cups for a hot drinks had cracks in.and the lift didn’t work To top it off . There was nothing said about a night club under the hotel and the music was loud. I couldn’t get to sleep until it finished. I think I should let a refund on my room

Frustrating experience as the website kept stalling on both my phone & laptop. Then when it did allow me to book it threw me out twice.

We use travelodges all the time but tge recent hotel requires refurbishment. Bathroom was rotten. Carpets in corridorswere disgusting and the room was not clean. The carpet in the room was mot hoovered. Very poor
